A spacious home with a garden and terrace, set in the heart of Chelsea, just a few moments from Sloane Square. It sleeps 9. Parents will love this central location, just a few blocks away from the popular shopping streets of Kings Road, Brompton Road and Sloane Street. These roads are also full of great family-friendly restaurants, eateries and different cuisines, so it'll be easy to cater for fussy kids with plenty of options around and no need to cook after busy days exploring the city.
Why Kids Love it
The fifth bedroom (on the third floor) is particularly well suited for kids, with a cozy built-in single bed, but they can choose from any of the 3 rooms on this floor which each have a few selected books or toys. This area is great for kids, with just a short journey to visit the city's famous family museums in South Kensington (Natural History Museum, Science Museum and V&A) plus two amazing parks nearby for days out when the sun shines: Hyde Park and Battersea Park.
Things to Know
This home is spread over five floors with no internal elevator. The fireplaces in this home are ornamental. There is an air-conditioning unit in the master bedroom only. Between June and September, we'll place fans in all other bedrooms. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period. About the Location
The house is located on a residential street in the heart of Chelsea. It's 7 minutes' walk to Sloane Square, where you can hop on the tube to get around the city, particularly if you're hoping to visit Victoria Buckingham Palace and Westminster areas. You'll find neighborhood restaurants and shops nearby and you're also halfway between Kings Road and Brompton Road - both busy shopping streets with endless boutiques, cafes and supermarkets.
Accommodation Details
The house has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, set over 5 floors. At the entrance level, you'll find a sitting room, dining room and kitchen, which has access to the garden. The lower ground is home to a second sitting room and a kingsize ensuite bedroom. Up on the second floor, there's another living room, and there are three bedrooms that are ideal for kids on the next floor up: 1 double, 2 singles and 1 built-in single. This floor also has a shared bathroom. The top floor has the primary kingsize bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
Style Notes
Classic Townhouse. This historic and charming home is still filled with plenty of period features, as well as hand-picked antique furniture to complement this traditional feel. We love the gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows in the living rooms which flood the space with light, as well as the grand fireplaces and the picturesque courtyard garden, offering a private oasis of space within the hustle and bustle of the city.

Hyde Park, Harrods and Her Majesty
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has a certain cachet. It’s where you’ll find Buckingham Palace, Sloane Square, the King’s Road, Harrods and many of the most upmarket stores and areas of the city. For kids, Hyde Park is a must-do, whether you go boating on the Serpentine on summer or enjoy the kid-friendly cafés around it. It’s a central area very well connected with the rest of the city by bus and Tube.
