White and bright. This elegant home has been finished in a white and lemon color palette to show off the architectural and period features. Kensington & Chelsea, London

Hyde Park, Harrods and Her Majesty

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has a certain cachet. It’s where you’ll find Buckingham Palace, Sloane Square, the King’s Road, Harrods and many of the most upmarket stores and areas of the city. For kids, Hyde Park is a must-do, whether you go boating on the Serpentine on summer or enjoy the kid-friendly cafés around it. It’s a central area very well connected with the rest of the city by bus and Tube.

Cathcart Rd. was a lovely location and spacious place with room for our group and an absolutely beautiful patio to enjoy. The patio was definitely a highlight of our time in London with a lovely view and space to relax or share a meal. However, some of the appliances and furniture was not the best (three of the beds are pull-outs, we had issues with several appliances, not as well appointed with dishes/kitchen ware and staples like soap and toilet paper as the other places we stayed on our trip). We dealt with several parties who did not seem in great communication - Kid and Coe, Veeve, Paula who checked us in, and Emma the host, which was confusing and not as helpful as I would expect at this price point and saying it is “concierge”. We also had issues with both check-in (place was not ready) and check-out (they had our dates wrong and were expecting us to check-out early, so I had to deal with that while out sightseeing with my kids). Overall - this place worked for our group and we slept well and loved the patio, but wouldn’t choose it again.

What a beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood! We came with our 3 kids, ages 3, 7 and 9, and even though it was a 4th floor walk up (no elevator), we all loved the house. We really appreciated being greeted and given a tour of the home by Travis - it was a very lovely touch and made us feel taken care of. The large and spacious living room ensured everyone had space to play and having breakfast in the kitchen/dining area with sun shining in through the tall french doors is so, so special. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and wished we had more time to enjoy the rooftop terrace. It's very easy to catch the bus to the tube and get to the more touristy spots in the city. The neighborhood itself has plenty of lovely restaurants and charming streets to walk along, so you can't go wrong. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

This was such a great flat! Had an awesome time - and the flat was wonderful! It was huge - master was huge, two smaller bedrooms perfect for kids, and there was an entry way room that I could have even used for another crib if I had another kid! Great space!! It was SO clean!! The listing said there was a crib/pack and play in a closet so I didn't confirm a head of time since I just assumed - but then the rental management company didnt know that, so they had to bring one from their office - no big deal overall, but I will confirm specifically going forward and would recommend confirming anything you may rely upon :)
