Moored on the banks of the River Thames in the charming neighbourhood of Chelsea, this houseboat is the perfect vacation home to excite and delight the kids. Sleeps 4. The stylish interiors feel sleek and sophisticated, like a typical contemporary apartment, but you’ll have the added excitement of staying on the water! Make sure to a trip on Thames Clipper Uber Boat, where you can cruise into Central London along the water (kids will love it), or jump on buses in nearby Kings Road to get around the city.

Why Kids Love it

While it doesn’t come with toys or books for little ones, the unique experience of staying on a boat will be amazing for kids of all ages. This spacious converted barge boasts amazing views over the river so kids can look out and see boats sailing past down towards Battersea Bridge, which leads to leafy Battersea Park. Walk the riverside paths and bridges over to the park, where there is a fantastic petting zoo and adventure playground (20 minutes’ walk).

Things to Know

There is air conditioning throughout the houseboat. This home accepts babies, toddlers, and children but they obviously must be supervised because of the access to the water. The home will consider pets on request, where an extra cleaning fee will be added to your booking. Please speak to our sales advisors for information. This home is spread across two floors with no internal elevator. Access to the boat is over a gangway that moves, although it is secure with handrails. This home has a TV in the sitting room that is not in the listing photos. Noise can be heard from helicopters overhead. There will be a £2,500 pre-authorisation processed as a security deposit for bookings in this home. As this home is on water, small movements can be felt when other boats pass by. The houseboat is moored just off Cheyne Walk in Chelsea. This desirable neighboord is a real pleasure to explore, with its rows of pastel-hued houses, quaint garden squares, and bustling weekend markets. A peaceful riverside path leads directly from the houseboat up towards Sloane Square, where you visit the iconic Peter Jones department store before perusing the independent boutiques on the King’s Road. You’ll also find a great choice of restaurants here, from cosy bistros to chic fine dining options. For the football enthusiasts, Chelsea Football Club at Stamford Bridge is just a 10-minute stroll away.

Cancellation policy
Applicable to stays up to 60 nights: If guests need to cancel, we refund 50% of the booking value, up to 14 days before the arrival date. Should guests cancel within 14 days of the arrival date, the booking will be non-refundable. Applicable to stays of 60 nights or more: If guests wish to cancel, we refund 50% of the first 60 nights, up to 14 days before the arrival date. Should guests cancel within 14 days of arrival the first 60 booked days are non-refundable. During the stay, guests are able to cancel at any time within 30 days notice; the remaining nights of the stay will be refundable, however, the first 60 days will remain non-refundable. In addition to the hosts policy which is listed here, all cancellations are subject to a Kid & Coe cancellation fee of 15% of the booking total.
