This Chelsea apartment in a classic Georgian townhouse has 2 charming bedrooms for kids and is minutes from the famous King’s Road and the museums of South Kensington. It sleeps 6. This comfortable apartment has high quality furnishings and fittings and space for everyone in the family to relax over 2 floors. The main bathroom has a huge soaking tub for relaxation after a day sightseeing. For working parents there are 2 dedicated workspaces with desks in the hall and in the main living area.

Why Kids Love it

Kids will enjoy the 2 bedrooms that have a set of bunkbeds in each. One is suitable for kids under 12 and the other is full-size and suitable for all ages. The bedrooms both have a TV, plus toys, books, cuddlies and plenty of soft cushions to get comfy on. Nearby, The Natural History Museum has plenty to wonder at for everyone age 3 and up and there’s the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum next door which are great for all curious kids and their parents.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 3 nights. No smoking, pets or parties. Please note, guests with allergies should be aware, a dog usually lives here. All the bedrooms are on the lower ground floor. The master bedroom shows French doors leading to a fire exit which is not suitable for guest use. Two of the bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom. There is a separate utility space with a washing machine and tumble dryer. A meet and greet, luxury toiletries, towels and linen, a hotel clean and WiFi are all included in your stay.

About the Location

This apartment is located in Markham Square, a residential area in the heart of Chelsea, London. It makes an ideal base to explore the capital with the beautiful Kensington Gardens, Buckingham Palace, the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum all within walking distance. The fashion lover’s King’s Road with boutiques and restaurants is at the end of the street. The nearest tube station is Sloane Square, a 10-minute walk from where you can connect to central London. Heathrow airport is approximately 50 minutes by train or taxi.

Accommodation Details

This maisonette apartment has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It is set over the ground and lower ground floor of the building. Enter into the main living space with sofas, a TV and fireplace and a dining table seating 6. The fully equipped modern kitchen has a breakfast table for 3. A powder room with a WC is also on this floor. Downstairs are the bedrooms. The primary has a full / double bed and integrated TV, plus ensuite with walk-in shower, WC and basin. Bedroom 2 has a bunkbed for under 12s, a desk with 2 chairs, wardrobe and TV, plus ensuite with a shower. Bedroom 3 has full size bunkbeds with a wardrobe and TV. A full-size family bathroom has a large, freestanding bath.

Chelsea style. Set in a lovely, leafy square, this 2-floor apartment has plenty of space for a comfortable stay in style. High ceilings and large multi-pane windows characterize the ample proportions of Georgian architecture. Sleek interior style combines vintage pieces with brightly colored contemporary furnishings and artwork for a sophisticated feel. The kitchen has glossy, handless units with brass fittings and a sea-blue splashback. We love the colorful and fun kids’ bedrooms with plenty to keep them happy, the tranquil master bedroom with views of the courtyard, and the superb, central location.

When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
Full refund (less 3% processing fee) when cancelling at least 5 days before arrival, 50% refund if cancelling less than 5 days before arrival. In addition to the host’s policy which is listed here, all cancellations are subject to a Kid & Coe cancellation fee of 10% of the booking total.

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has a certain cachet. It’s where you’ll find Buckingham Palace, Sloane Square, the King’s Road, Harrods and many of the most upmarket stores and areas of the city. For kids, Hyde Park is a must-do, whether you go boating on the Serpentine on summer or enjoy the kid-friendly cafés around it.
