Perks for the Parents

A west London townhouse with minimalist interiors and a private garden, just minutes from Earl’s Court, White City and South Kensington. It sleeps 7. Parents will love the stylish tranquil walled garden here - a real oasis in the heart of the city and the perfect place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. There’s enough room for separate bedrooms, or parents traveling with a nanny, and the living space is a real home-from-home for fuss-free family meals.

Why Kids Love it

While there aren't any toys or books for little ones, this central location is the perfect spot for exploring the best of London’s family-friendly attractions. In just 15 minutes you can walk to the city’s famous museums - the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and the V&A. It’s also just 15 minutes’ walk from the Design Museum at Holland Park and less than half an hour from Hyde Park, where kids can try horse riding, open water swimming and play in the playgrounds.

Things to Know

No smoking, pets or parties. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. All guests will receive a rental agreement prior to their stay which must be signed and submitted. Please note, this home is set on 3 floors with no lift, so may not be appropriate for guests with mobility concerns or small children.

About the Location

This property is located just 3 minutes’ walk from Earl’s Court subway station in west London. This is an unbeatable location, nestled in between Hyde Park, Holland Park and Fulham Road - where you’ll find lots of high-end boutiques, fantastic restaurants and unique stores. It’s under half an hour by subway to the West End and the South Bank. Heathrow airport is less than 1 hour away by car or train.

This floor also has a WC. Upstairs on the first floor, you’ll find 2 bedrooms (1 kingsize, 1 fitted with 2 single beds plus 1 extra single trundle), both with ensuite bathrooms and walk-in showers. On the top floor, there’s a kingsize bedroom with ensuite bathroom (with shower-over-bath).

Style Notes

White and light. This minimalist home is decorated in all white and neutral tones to create a calm and restful environment. Think gloss tiles, glass furniture and light flooding in from skylights. We love the super sleek all-white kitchen, the black-and-white photography on the walls and the transparent Eames ghost chairs.

Kensington & Chelsea, London

Hyde Park, Harrods and Her Majesty

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has a certain cachet. It’s where you’ll find Buckingham Palace, Sloane Square, the King’s Road, Harrods and many of the most upmarket stores and areas of the city. For kids, Hyde Park is a must-do, whether you go boating on the Serpentine on summer or enjoy the kid-friendly cafés around it. It’s a central area very well connected with the rest of the city by bus and Tube.
