The Sloane Gardens Residence
Perks for the Parents
Retreat from the hustle and bustle of Sloane Square to this elegant, second floor, 2-bedroom apartment. Sleeps up to 5 guests. Parents will love that there's plenty to do and see on foot without ever leaving the neighborhood, and exploring the rest of London is easy with the tubes and buses practically on your doorstep. The sleek, modern kitchen is perfect for preparing small meals for the kids before setting off on daily adventures.
Why Kids Love it
Babies, toddlers, and children are all welcome and they'll love the nearby parks - Battersea Park and Hyde Park are both about 20 minutes away on foot. A dedicated kids' bunk bedroom with a trundle is perfect for your little ones to feel right at home. Kids will have a hoot riding up top on a double-decker bus to see The Natural History Museum, The London Zoo, The Tower of London, and more. Take a walk down Sloane Street towards St. Luke's Gardens for a local playground.
Things to Know
This home doesn't have air-conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period. There are stairs up to the entrance floor with no internal elevator. The fireplace in this home is ornamental. There is no wardrobe in the twin bedroom but there is a hanging rail. There is a trundle bed in the twin bedroom which can be set up for one but please note that this would be more suitable for children. Please let us know when you book if you would like it prepared The home has a neighbour that occasionally smokes inside, so there may be an aroma of cigarettes on the landing. The building porter occasionally visits to water the plants. We will let you know if this will happen during your stay. There is currently construction work taking place in the building. There will be tarp covered scaffolding on the exterior of the building and work men coming and going while the building undergoes necessary refurbishment. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, 8am until 1pm on Saturdays, and work is expected to go on for 23 weeks until November 2023. During working hours noise will be heard.
About the Location
The residence is located right on the border between the elegant neighborhoods of Belgravia and Chelsea. You’ll find both high street stores and mom and pop shops, pubs, and restaurants galore up and down the King’s Road. Head in the opposite direction for the famed luxury boutiques and department stores of Sloane Street and Knightsbridge. For easy access to culture, the Royal Court Theatre and Saatchi Gallery are both steps away. Chelsea Physic Garden is a tucked away gem - think magical gardens hidden behind ancient stone walls. Buckingham Palace is a short cab ride away and kids love seeing all the different types of birds swimming in the ponds at St. James Park. The tube from Heathrow takes 45 minutes and drops you off right at Sloane Square station, or a taxi is about 30 minutes.

Kensington & Chelsea, London
Hyde Park, Harrods and Her Majesty
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has a certain cachet. It’s where you’ll find Buckingham Palace, Sloane Square, the King’s Road, Harrods and many of the most upmarket stores and areas of the city. For kids, Hyde Park is a must-do, whether you go boating on the Serpentine on summer or enjoy the kid-friendly cafés around it. It’s a central area very well connected with the rest of the city by bus and Tube.
