The bedrooms are spread over 3 floors so there’s room for grandparents, teens or a nanny to have their own space and there’s even a small garden so younger kids can get some fresh air while you make breakfast in the beautiful open plan kitchen.

Why Kids Love it

While the house doesn’t come with books or toys for kids, there is plenty of space for a large family to stay here, and families will appreciate the largely residential neighborhood. Away from the busy streets of the West End, this home is 2 minutes’ walk from the local playground. It’s also just a 15-minute walk to beautiful Holland Park, which boasts adventure playgrounds, sports courts and The Design Museum. Teens can jump on the underground and head to Westfield (15 minutes) for shopping, cinemas and eateries.

Full of charm. This delightful townhouse is bursting with individuality; its bold colors and striking patterns are a visual treat. Kensington & Chelsea, London

Hyde Park, Harrods and Her Majesty

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has a certain cachet. It’s where you’ll find Buckingham Palace, Sloane Square, the King’s Road, Harrods and many of the most upmarket stores and areas of the city. For kids, Hyde Park is a must-do, whether you go boating on the Serpentine on summer or enjoy the kid-friendly cafés around it. It’s a central area very well connected with the rest of the city by bus and Tube.
