Things to Know

Minimum stay 4 nights. There is a $45 per day charge for pool heating (48 hours notice required), and $55 per stay for use of the BBQ/Grill. Pet fees (dogs only) range based on breed and size. Pre-approval from host is required before booking. Please contact host for further details. 48 hours notice required for heating during October-April. The house is on 1 level with no need for stair gates; the pool is not gated and children should be supervised around it and the hot tub at all times. No Contact Check in/out (REMOTE with ID Camera checkin).

About the Location

This residence is in the Lindfields area of Kissimmee, Florida, just 4½ miles west of Disney World. Lindfields has some of Kissimmee's finest and most expensive homes and is a quiet area. This sprawling, 3 neighborhood estate is a short drive from Epcot and all the Disney theme parks. It is approximately 30 minutes from Kissimmee and the same from Orlando. The closest major airport is Orlando International Airport, a 30-minute drive away. Car hire essential.

Accommodation Details

This 3 bed/2 bath residence with a pool measures 1250sq ft. Bedrooms include a master with ensuite shower and kingsize bed, second bedroom with queensize bed and third bedroom with twin bunkbeds with a full bed on the bottom, plus a shared bathroom. There is a full kitchen, a lounge and a games room in the converted garage including air hockey (kid size), pool table (adult size). The pool is private, south-facing and screened and there is also a hot tub. All rooms have a 55in+ SMART TV and free WiFi throughout the home.

Style Notes

Modern comfort. This 1-level modern house includes tiled flooring, ceiling fans and soft pastel wall colors. Built for comfort with custom throw pillows and large beds with custom headboards, the house is an easy place to stay as a family or 2. The kids bedroom has a quirky light-up castle and comfortable bunks, sleeping up to 3 in the same room. We love the pool terrace, ideal for relaxing after a day at the theme parks, and the playful kids room.

Right next door to Orlando, Kissimmee is the destination of choice if you’re planning to visit blockbuster theme parks as a family. The choice is yours: with Walt Disney World Resort, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Epcot, SeaWorld Orlando and Universal Studios to choose from, you’ll certainly be busy. If you need a break, this central Florida area has fantastic wildlife tours including air boat trips across swamps to see gators in the wild, boat and kayak trips on Lake Toho and plenty of petting zoos for younger tots to visit.

We arrived at the home and found it to be pretty much as listed. The photos in the listing seem to be enhanced as the property was slightly more run down in person. The castle with lights was not working and the string of lights were hanging over the edge of the cutout castle. The rooms were adequate size and fit our family of 4 easily. It was relatively close to Disney and we could get to the parks within 20 minutes. It advertised laundry in unit which it had, but it should mention that no detergent is provided. When staying here, you need to bring everything to clean/wash your clothes or dishes. Overall the property was priced appropriately and met our needs for our trip. We would probably not choose to stay here again and would choose to stay closer to Disney.

Great value for money and close to the parks. Kids enjoyed the game room. Gentleman who checked us in was polite and helpful. Would have felt safer if pool had a fence around it with kids and all. Also, there were few small bugs lurking around the house and the hot tub had a few water blowers (for the lack of a better word) not firing. Would rent again if price stays close to what we paid
