Why Kids Love it

This spacious apartment is perfect for small families - kids can play in the open plan living room or run around on the balcony. It's a short walk from local playgrounds and they’ll love taking a boat trip to the other parts of Lake Como. On the western side of the lake, they can visit the waterfront ‘beach’ Lido Villa Olmo, stop off at some of the beautiful lake-side parks, or try some of the water-sports on offer at the various harbor towns. An hour’s drive north, you’ll find a toddler-dedicated mini golf course with lake views (Viale Benedetto Castelli), and an hour’s drive south will take you to Leolandia Park - a magical theme park with amusements, animated characters, and shows.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 1 night. The apartment is located on the second floor and there is an elevator. The balcony is fitted with high railings so it is safe for young children to enjoy. There are public parking spots available on the street - car rental is recommended to explore the wider area. The hosts can provide a baby bed and high chair on request. Pets allowed - please ask when booking. The residence comes with washer/dryer, dishwasher, flatscreen TV, and WiFi.

About the Location

The apartment is located in Blevio, on the eastern side of Lake Como in Italy. It’s 5 minutes’ walk to the bus stop for travel to Bellagio and the city of Como (which is 10 minutes’ drive). Milan’s Malpensa International Airport is around 1 hour away by car. In the village you’ll find a few children’s playgrounds and a local grocery shop. On the shores of Lake Como, there is a ferry stop to access the other towns and cities on the water, as well as a wake-boarding center, restaurant, and skate park. Families with older kids or teens can also try some of the challenging hiking or biking routes in the scenic mountains surrounding the lake.

Accommodation Details

This apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, set on 1 floor. The primary bedroom has a double bed; the second bedroom has 2 single beds. The main bathroom has a bathtub; the second bathroom features a large shower. The living areas include a large living room, dining area (which can be screened off from the living room, and also has access to the balcony), and fully-equipped kitchen with additional dining table. There’s also a beautiful terrace outside, with outdoor dining furniture to sit and enjoy the magnificent sunsets over Lake Como.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
