Things to Know

Modern amenities include AC in all rooms, Apple TVs, mini-fridges, and balconies in our premium rooms. If your family includes a pet, some rooms are furry friendly for an additional charge. There is a $30/night resort fee to cover all the perks including private beach access and parking. There are no cooking facilities in room but you're welcome to use the toasters and microwave in the lobby to prepare food for your crew.

About the Location

The Coachman is in the heart of Heavenly: 5 minute walk to Lakeside Beach, and a 10-minute walk to the Heavenly Gondola where you can drop your kids for ski lessons in winter. Lake Tahoe is the 2nd largest alpine lake in North America and you've got it on your doorstep. If summer is more your speed you'll have a seemingly endless list of outdoor activities to take advantage of: kayaking, boating, hiking, mountain biking, backpacking, fishing, hot air balloon rides, and rock climbing. Reno Airport is about a 1-hour drive and renting a car is recommended so you can fully explore the area during your stay.

Accommodation Details

We recommend booking the Double Queen, One-Bedroom Suite, or Three-Bedroom Suite (sleeps up to 11) for family-friendly accommodations. Double Queen has, as advertised, two comfy queen beds decked out in cozy Italian bed linens. One-Bedroom Suite comfortably sleeps 4 people and is ideal for families who need a little more space. King bedroom plus twin sized sofa with twin trundle pull-out in the separate living room area. Small dining table seats 4 and there's even a balcony so you can check the weather in the morning before leaving your space. Three-Bedroom Suite is the creme de la creme for larger families. One king bedroom, one double queen bedroom, and one bunkroom that sleeps 5. Kitchenette and cozy living room complete with fireplace for chilly nights in. Wet-area entryway in all rooms is perfect for storing outdoor gear in all seasons without mucking up your bedroom.

Style Notes

Modern motel. The Coachman is cool and comfortable with custom-built plywood furniture and tactile touches like leather sofas and quilted coverlets on the beds. We love the communal lobby, outdoor firepits, swimming pool, and hot tub!

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
Reservation must be cancelled at least 72 hours prior to arrival in order to avoid a penalty of one night room and tax In addition to the host’s policy which is listed here, all cancellations are subject to a Kid & Coe cancellation fee of 15% of the booking total.
