Style Notes

Understated modern. Traditional yet contemporary; refined yet comfortable. The soft, natural tones throughout the home are cozy and calm - perfect for tired travelers - and it features hardwoods throughout (aside from the soft carpeted basement). This bright and light house boasts new built-in storage throughout, including a refurbished kitchen with white counter-tops, fresh and light cabinetry and Wolf appliances. We love the arched window in the main bedroom, the glass bricks in the bathroom, and the fun spotty wallpaper in the children’s bedroom.

Lakeview, Chicago

Lake beaches and the Chicago Cubs

Bordered by Lake Michigan to the east and lying around 15 minutes’ drive north of downtown Chicago, this large and diverse neighborhood has plenty to recommend it to visiting families. Cycle, walk or rollerblade along the lakefront path, swim in the lake and play on its beaches, or walk to Wrigley Field for Cubs matches.
