We love the large open plan living room and the soft, discerning décor.

We are a family of 5! Fran, my husband, Cecilia ( who is 7), Alejandra(who is 5), Javier (who is almost 2) and me. We live in Barcelona in a beautiful and big appartment with swimpool

Les Corts, Barcelona

Work and play

Home to the LaCaixa bank headquarters and Camp Nou, the official arena of Futbol Club (FC) Barcelona, the affluent financial and residential district of Les Corts works hard and plays harder. South of Pedralbes and west of L’Eixample Esquerra, this safe, modern neighborhood is a 25-minute walk to the Plaça de Espanya and the magic fountain of Montjuïc and is well connected by public transport.

The biggest issue was that this residence was advertised as a four bedroom but when we arrived, only three bedrooms were available for use (sleeping max two adults and three kids). This was a huge problem since we booked to have the extra room for our infant. This residence should only be advertised as a four bedroom if all bedrooms are truly available and usable. Eventually we were able to convince Ana to unlock the extra bedroom but we could only put our travel crib in there and couldn't touch anything. We were able to do this but it was stressful with young kids. There was also a lot of family stuff around that we were instructed to be careful about, which was challenging with young kids. Overall, it was not a good fit for a family with kids under 5 because of the degree of caution we had to have, making it hard to relax. The bathrooms seemed to have a little bit of mold, and the main porch could lock you out on it if it closed. The location was fine and fairly walk/scootable, but not very interesting (and we thought more L'Hospitalet than Les Corts). The complex pool was very nice to use.

Hi Lindsay, we're sorry to hear about your negative experience. In regards to the bedrooms, I believed that you only required 3 bedrooms from our exchanged messages. We also purchased a crib to accommodate your baby, who we believed would be staying in the same bedroom. You are correct that there was a small amount of mold, but we kindly ask that you note that we are a family of five that lives there year-round, using the bathroom. And we paint them annually. Lastly, the terrace door locks in such a way for security reasons. This was agreed upon by the community, and I will be sure to point out this detail for future visits. Thank you. Ana
