This 1920s waterside apartment with stunning views of the River Tejo has thoughtfully curated interiors and is located between Lisbon and Cascais. It sleeps 6 + 1. It’s well set up for a family stay with a fully equipped kitchen and a family-sized dining area seating up to 6. The primary bedroom has vintage furniture and large windows that open up to riverside views. You’ll be within easy reach of local shops, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes, as well as several beautiful beaches.

Why Kids Love it

Kids will love the proximity of the Caxias beach (5 minutes' walk) and the National Stadium Park, where kids can ride a bicycle, play mini-golf, go climbing, canyoning, play tennis, play in an adventure park, try basketball, do some mountain biking, or swim in the Olympic swimming pool. You can also explore the hiking trails in the National Stadiums park woods.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 5 nights. The apartment is on the 1st floor without an elevator. The main entrance is next to the main street. The front of the house faces a road and a railway line: the location can be noisy during rush hours (typically 8-9am and 5-7pm) but only with the windows open or if you are outside. Safety notes: there is a balcony where young children should be supervised. There is a dedicated parking space within the building for your use. Cruz-Quebrada is well-connected to transport routes. Fly into Lisbon’s international airport, Humberto Delgado Airport, about 30 minutes by taxi.

About the Location

The property is located in Cruz Quebrada, close to the National Stadium Park. It's a 15-minute drive from Cascais and 8 minutes from the hotspots of Lisbon. It's just a few minutes' walk from sea-front promenade, where parents and kids can walk, run, or skate. It's just 3 minutes from the Lisbon-Cascais railway line for access to the capital in 8 minutes and Cascais in 20 minutes. The amazing beaches of Costa da Caparida are 15 minutes' drive; Sintra-Cascais Natural Parque is 25 minutes' drive. Head to Ericeira World Surf Reserve (35 minutes' drive) where you can catch the best surf in Europe. (The closest beach with surfing waves is 10 minutes from the property).

Accommodation Details

This apartment has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, all on 1 floor. The living room has comfortable seating and a TV and is open plan to the dining room seating 6. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a family meal and a breakfast bar for 2. The primary queensize bedroom has a walk-in closet, ensuite bathroom and a walk-on balcony. Bedroom 2 has a queensize bed and Bedroom 3 would make a great kids’ room with 2 single / twin beds. A travel crib for a tot is available on request. Both bathrooms have a tub; the family bathroom has no shower. All rooms have air conditioning.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
