This 4-bedroom home was designed with families in mind, with big comfortable beds, an eat-in-kitchen which overlooks the private backyard and an outdoor shower, fire pit, gas BBQ, hammock and outdoor projector (plus wet bar and powder room) - ideal for indoor/outdoor living. The lovely pool has an electric cover, keeping it safe for children and the fourth bedroom has a private bathroom, located upstairs away from the others, making it ideal for teens, grandparents or a nanny.

About the Location

The house is located in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles. It’s within walking distance (15 minutes) of great stores, coffee shops and eateries such as Little Dom's and Cafe Figaro, and just a short distance to Griffith Park and The Greek Theater. You can access great hikes into the hills from the end of the street via the Fern Dell Nature Trail (15 minutes’ walk). For family days out, it’s just 10 minutes to the LA Zoo and around half an hour from the beach. LAX airport is roughly 45 minutes’ drive.

Accommodation Details

The house has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, set over 3 floors. There’s a spacious living room with a comfortable seating area, large flat screen smart TV and record player. Past the living room is the formal dining room with a statement table that seats 10. Off the kitchen is a long hallway that also accesses both the dining and living rooms and provides entry into the 3 bedrooms located on the first floor. Upstairs, two bedrooms are outfitted with queensize beds, wall mounted smart TVs and dedicated work spaces, and share a full Jack-and-Jill bathroom, complete with a separate walk-in shower as well as large bathtub. At the end of the hallway, the primary bedroom has patio access and overlooks the backyard; its ensuite bathroom has a soaking tub, rain shower, dual vanities and elegant lighting fixtures. The fourth bedroom is private, located upstairs on the second floor, with a queensize bed and a private full bathroom with a shower-over-bathtub.

Style Notes

Calming contemporary. This home was designed with comfort and the family in mind. The living room is a great place for everyone to gather and the kitchen boasts a large island and eat-in breakfast nook overlooking the private backyard - yet another inviting space for the family. Outside the french doors a water feature helps bring a sense of calm to the home. Walking through the foyer you are greeted with old world charm, from the hardwood floors to the Batchelder fireplace in the living room. We love the storybook architecture, high ceilings and the custom light fixture in the dining area, designed by a local artist.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
