This elegant Art Deco beach house is just moments from the pebble beach in Loutraki, Greece. It sleeps 8 + 1. This beautiful villa was built in 1935 and has been strongly influenced by the Art Deco era. The house has been well preserved over time and has become known as a unique landmark in the Loutraki area. The sleek and smart interiors create a calm environment that’s perfect for relaxing in after a busy beach day, and there’s plenty of space for the whole family to have their own space. Parents will love visiting the historic sites of Athens or studying the landscape of the beautiful Peloponnese region (both 1 hour away) or simply lounging by the pool while the kids play.

Why Kids Love it

This is a fantastic villa for kids of all ages. Outside, they’ll love splashing in the step-in pool and playing with the hosts’ swimming pool toys. There’s also a basketball hoop and grassy areas to play outdoors. The house itself comes with a PlayStation, board games, cable TV and Netflix so they’ll be entertained indoors too. The beautiful beach is just 230 feet away - perfect for little legs - and offers sunbeds to keep the family comfortable, as well as a choice of cafes and snack bars. Within the town of Loutraki there is a children’s playground, as well as a park on the beach and watersports for older kids and teens (including windsurfing, jet-skiing and sailing).

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 4 nights, depending on the season. Safety notes: the fully fenced garden areas offer a safe environment for the kids to play, but the pool is not gated. There are no tubs in the villa, only showers. There is a staircase that leads to 3 of the bedrooms so younger children may need supervision. The entrances are accessed either by electronic lock or a security door. The rates include a cleaning service once a week. Any additional cleaning is arranged upon request with an additional fee from 60 euros/day (depending on the season and what the guests require). There is space for 2 cars but car hire is not essential. The residence comes with air conditioning, dishwasher, high chair, washer/dryer, outdoor shower, TV and WiFi.

About the Location

The villa is located just moments from the beach in Loutraki, Greece. It’s just 2 minutes’ walk from grocery stores, food supplies, banks and a medical center. This mainland location is a 1-hour drive from Athens International Airport: ask the hosts about organizing a private transfer or car rental from the airport. Corinth train station (10 minutes’ drive) offers access to the airport via the Suburban Railway. If you’re keen to explore, the nearby Loutraki Waterfalls are a picturesque day out for the whole family, while kids will love the local Splash water park (10 minutes’ drive).

Accommodation Details

Built in 1935 by a French Architect, this residence has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, set over 3 floors plus an additional but living area with bathroom and kitchenette with separate entrance. On the ground floor is an open living and dining area and a fully-equipped kitchen. There is also 1 bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. This floor leads to the beautiful garden, with a swimming pool, lounging area, pool WC, dining areas, an outdoor kitchen and a BBQ - ideal for cooking up Greek-style family meals. Up from the ground floor is a mid-level area with a children's room with bunk beds and a desk. Upstairs there are 2 further bedrooms: 1 kingsize room, 1 queensize room, a small lounge area with TV, 2 balconies, and a main bathroom with shower. The hosts have 1 crib available on request. Additionally, there is an extra lower ground floor area with a separate entrance that includes a kitchenette, a bathroom and a sleeping area that can accommodate another adult.

Style Notes

Art Deco summer house. This historic home has been lovingly preserved over the years, with many original art deco elements remaining. Traditional features such as original oak stairs, wooden flooring, terrazzo tiles and stunning furniture all retain a strong Art Deco aesthetic. The hosts have recently renovated the home to its former glory, adding many modern amenities to create a smart, contemporary family home. We love the beautiful white marble countertops, the traditional patterned tiled hallway and the striking contemporary fireplace.

When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
