This stunning architect-designed Mallorcan villa is just 15 minutes from white sand beaches and has everything you need for a relaxing break in the sunshine. It sleeps 8 + 1. The location is secluded, and you’ll enjoy perfect privacy with a lovely garden full of Mediterranean plants and palm trees. The pool is surrounded by different lounge areas and the terraces offer seating spaces in the shade or in the sun. This holiday house would suit a large family or groups of friends traveling together who want a peaceful getaway.

Why Kids Love it

This villa is well set up for kids with lots of fun to be had. In the living room is a projector for movie night or simply to watch their favorite TV series on a huge screen. Upstairs is a playroom where kids can have their own space with all kinds of toys and games and Apple TV. A trampoline is in the garden and of course, there’s the pool for hours of entertainment. Two of the 3 bathrooms have a tub for young kids.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 7 days, all year round. Maximum occupancy is 8 guests. The pool and the stairs are ungated. There is a balcony where very young children may need supervision. Pets are not allowed due to allergies. Car hire is recommended to make the most of your stay and explore the area. There is parking at the villa. All rooms have air conditioning. A crib and high chair can be provided on request. The host will go above and beyond to make your holiday as wonderful and relaxing as possible.

About the Location

The villa is located 10 minutes’ drive from the north-east coast of Mallorca and a few miles away from the typical Spanish village of Santa Margalida (also known as Santa Margarita) with shops, supermarkets and restaurants. It’s just 15 minutes from the local beaches of Playa del Muro with white-sand and turquoise water and child-friendly shallow water, Sa Canova and Son Serra de la Marina beach. Nearby attractions include the nature reserve S'Albufera de Mallorca with hiking trails and wildlife, the ‘Rancho Grande’ horse riding park and 2 golf courses. The nearest airport is Palma de Mallorca Airport, a 50-minute drive.

Accommodation Details

The villa is over 2 floors with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on 2 floors. On the ground floor is a large entrance hall leading into the eat-in kitchen with a table seating 6. Doors open fully to a terrace with a table seating 8 and lounge chairs overlooking the pool. There is a living room and a utility room with a toilet, shower and washing machine. On this floor you’ll also find a double / full bedroom with a bathroom. Upstairs is the main bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a double / full bedroom, a playroom / TV room and a family bathroom. Outside are gardens and a private pool.

Style Notes

Balearic beauty. This architect-designed house was refurbished in 2018 to create a relaxed jewel of a getaway for its London-based owners to unwind and the eclectic, boutique decor will make you feel at home immediately. The large glass French doors downstairs can be opened to the garden so that the inside and outside merge. Pastel colors, bright prints and contemporary artwork come together in a crisp, modern style. The bathrooms are beautifully simple with stone, local tiles, rattan baskets and bare copper pipes for towel rails. We love the polished concrete floors, the views of the mountains, and the wonderful pool area where everyone will find their perfect spot to relax.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations notified up to 8 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 8 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking.

My partner and I bought the house in 2011. It used to be two houses and we made it into one. The refurbishment almost took us a year. We rent the villa around 6 months per year and the other months we enjoy living here. I (Wieteke) am from Holland and Juan Carlos is from Spain. Together we have two small boys so our house is baby proof. We love to travel, especially to Asia.
