There is a path which connects the 2 villas, an ideal arrangement for 2 families or larger groups wanting to travel together but enjoy some additional space. The villa's primary bedroom is located downstairs, away from the other sleeping quarters and has its own direct patio access, perfect for catching a quiet moment. For those wanting to explore the local areas, the villa is located between the pretty towns of Moscari and Selva which have restaurants, bars and shops as well as a weekly market.

Why Kids Love it

Kids have the run of nearly 50 acres of natural space, though there is plenty to keep them occupied in the villa’s immediate vicinity. The private outdoor pool is always popular, offering the perfect place to cool off on warmer days, while the covered terrace with alfresco dining is a great spot for a post-swim barbecue. There is an outdoor ping pong table as well as access to a shared tennis court for those into racket sports. For hotter days and winter months, the indoor games room will prove a hit with a billiard table and big screen HDTV and DVD for downtime entertainment or laid-back movie nights. For active kids, there are plenty of cycling routes close to the villa with bike hire available nearby – perfect for exploring the local Sa Pobla area where there is also a museum of games and toys. The nearest beaches are about 30 minutes away, offering lots of watersports, including kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and boat hire. The Playa de Muro beach in Alcudia has a fun wooden maze which will challenge all the family. A pack and play travel crib is available on request.

Style Notes

Sophisticated rustic-chic. Nature sets the tone at this stylish design-led villa. Modernist interior design blends with Mallorcan architecture to create sleek interiors with characterful art sculptures, wall hangings and furniture adding sophistication and color throughout. Every piece in the villa has been chosen with thought, from the modern Bulthaup kitchen to the beautiful wooden sculptures and feature dining table with statement lights adding glamour to evening soirees. Mid-century furnishings are softened by woven textiles which add warmth and comfort to the seating areas. We love the villa’s artistic feel, where man made sculptures blend seamlessly with nature’s own tree canopies and olive, palm and Cyprus trees provide respite from the midday sun. For more active times of day, we love the outdoor pool and tennis court, where the family can enjoy some friendly play and time together.

Mallorca, Spain

Sandcastles and sunshine

One of Spain’s four sun-kissed Balearic islands, Mallorca is perfect for an easy family vacation. Popular beach resorts abound but there are hidden treasures too: golden stone hill towns, quiet beaches and olive groves, if you look hard enough. Take tots on the Palma-Soller vintage train, make sandcastles on the beach, and order kid-friendly tapas in beach bars. Pack sunscreen - you'll need it.
