Perks for the Parents

A luxurious oasis in the heart of Marrakech's historic Medina, with traditional riad architecture and a private chef. It sleeps 4-7. Nestled in the vibrant Dar el Bacha district, this tranquil retreat boasts a lush green courtyard and a sparkling swimming pool, as well as a private terrace from each bedroom for a quiet morning coffee. With a dedicated spa room that can also serve as additional accommodation, the townhouse works well for parents traveling with a nanny or teens. The house also comes with a chef to prepare all your meals (additional fees apply) so you’ll be able to relax once home from your adventures.

Why Kids Love it

While it doesn’t have toys or books for children, it has spacious exterior grounds including a saltwater pool (7x3m) so they’ll have outdoor areas to relax after days sightseeing (it’s close to the Dar El Bacha Museum and walking distance to the town and restaurants). The main bedroom is a connected space for parents and kids to sleep adjacent, so younger kids will feel right at home. A crib and high chair is available on request, and the chef can prepare meals for picky eaters or those with allergies.

Things to Know

Both first floor terraces can be accessed from eachother. The pool is not gated and can be accessed directly from the house, so young children should be supervised. The pool can be heated for an additional 30EUR per day. Additional fees apply for services, payable at the end of your stay: Lunch: starting from €20 per guest per day, Dinner: starting from €25 per guest per day, Massage: starting from €45 per hour, Yoga trainer: starting from €60, Airport transfers: €30 to/from airport (per way). Please note that not all rooms have AC.

About the Location

The property has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. You’ll find the living room on the ground floor, with comfortable seating and access to the courtyard, as well as a separated dining area for 4 people, a well equipped kitchen (staff usage only, guests are not allowed) and a bedroom with a kingsize bed, a single bed, living area, air conditioning and ensuite shower room. Upstairs the first floor boasts a bedroom with 1 queensize bed, 2 single beds, AC and ensuite bathroom with shower-over-bath. The third bedroom has a single bed (available on request) and ensuite bathroom.

Accommodation Details

The house is located in the heart of Marrakesh, Morocco. This captivating city, often referred to as the "Red City" due to its iconic sandstone buildings, offers a sensory feast like no other. Wander through the bustling souks of the Medina, where the air is filled with the scent of exotic spices, and the vibrant colours of handcrafted rugs and ceramics beckon from every corner. Lose yourself in the labyrinthine alleyways: discover the intricate beauty of traditional Moroccan architecture and the lively chatter of vendors offering their wares.

Style Notes

Contemporary Moorish. The house feels contemporary, light and simple, yet dotted with hints of local flair from the printed textiles and pops of color. The courtyard and terraces are private and tropical, surrounded by green trees and shady spots with cozy seating areas to relax with a book or take a nap. We love the natural rustic materials used for the wall hangings, the clever dining area wall divider and the intricate curved riad-style doorways.

Snake charmers and desert gardens

Visiting Marrakech is like stepping into a heady Arabian dream - from snake charmers in Djemma el Fna square to the labyrinthine souks where you can’t fail to get lost among stalls of magic lanterns. Soak up the atmosphere with pretty pastries and mint tea in a pavement café and be sure to visit the Majorelle Gardens on the outskirts of the city where the exotic garden displays the brightest colors around. Outside the city, day trip to the Atlas Mountains or take the kids camel riding in the Sahara - it’s a magical experience for all the family.
