Modern farmhouse. This beautifully-designed home has a Scandinavian, soft modern aesthetic. This home has been recently renovated by the hosts, who have chosen white oak floors, natural fiber rugs, oversized windows and stunning Holland and Sherry wall finishes. The furniture is predominantly from Ligne Roset, Roche Bobois, Ethnicraft and Restoration Hardware, along with lots of finds from the hosts’ travels around the world. My family and I moved to Mill Valley four years ago. We love using Kid & Coe for our own traveling so decided to list our house for the times we are out of town (particularly in the hopes of doing a home exchange over the summer and Christmas holidays). Marin is a fairytale place for young families and we hope you will enjoy it, as well as our home, as much as we do!

Mill Valley, Marin County

At the base of Mount Tam

Voted as one of the top 10 small towns in America to live in, Mill Valley, four miles north of San Francisco, has everything to offer a family, from superb kid-friendly beaches within a five-minute drive to hikes around Mount Tamalpais, family-friendly restaurants and cafés, and a lovely downtown with parks, playgrounds and interesting independent stores. Don’t miss migrating the Californian grey whales just off the coast from December to May each year.
