Style Notes

Modern Scandinavian. This beautiful house was renovated in April 2017 and is a mixture of contemporary and historic, dating to 1905. There is a lot of blond wood, mixed it with a modern epoxy floor with floor heating, plus white walls, concrete planters and white walls for a fresh look. We love the colorful furniture, the light dining area and the super cute kids room.

I am living in Amsterdam with my daughter of 12,living in the centre of Amsterdam. We have a beautiful appartment next to all the museums of Amsterdam and other nice hotspots of the city. You will like it for sure!

Museumkwartier, Amsterdam

The city’s cultural heartland

In the south of central Amsterdam, the Museum Quarter is the city’s cultural hothouse, including the Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk Museum and the Van Gogh Museum among its treasures. It’s super well connected by tram to the city at large and is close to the Vondelpark for tots who prefer play to paintings.

Really comfortable stay for our family of four, parents had a bed in the main part of the unit and each kid (7/9) had their own rooms. Location was awesome with really good food options next door and in a really walkable area. Great memories for our November in Amsterdam!

Our family had the most wonderful stay in this home—it was perfectly located just steps from the most lovely cafes and restaurants, a stone's throw from all the fabulous museums, and easy walking distance to everything else that Amsterdam has to offer. The house was spotless, super cozy, and perfectly appointed with everything we needed. Karina was a very warm, communicative host as well, and we definitely plan on staying here again next time we visit! Thank you for the most unforgettable trip and for a safe, beautiful place to call home while traveling!

This wonderful apartment in de Pijp was a fantastic base for a short break in Amsterdam. You couldn’t ask for a better location if you plan on visiting some of the city’s wonderful museums and there are so many wonderful cafes and restaurants literally in the same block. Karina was a wonderful host and the apartment is lovely, clean and relaxing - a great sanctuary for the family after a busy day sight seeing. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

We had a great stay at the Museumkwartier. Maarten was a super host. Meeting us at his home when we arrived. Lots of local recommendations. His home was beautiful and spotless, in a superb local neighbourhood. We would definitely stay again.
