This sophisticated villa with a private infinity pool is a 10-minute walk from Agios Sostis beach in the north of Mykonos. Set on a hillside with views of the Aegean, it is ideal for a family stay, with a fully equipped kitchen, family-sized breakfast/dining area and a big barbecue area. A separate bedroom with ensuite bathroom and kitchen can be rented for grand parents/ au pairs offering extra privacy. The house is 330 sqm in total and has 5 bedrooms and a lot of space for kids. The villa is in a quiet area above Agios Sostis beach with a housekeeping manager available 24/7.

Why Kids Love it

There is a swimming pool to splash in, with pool games and balls provided. The closest beach is Agios Sostis beach, a 10-minute walk away. There is plenty of room inside the house for the kids to play. Boat trips, beach playgrounds, snorkeling and horse riding are just a few of the local activities that appeal to the kids. Note a few drawbacks for those with very young children in Things to Know. There is 1 twin bedroom and 1 bedroom with a twin bed, ideal for kids.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 3 days. A €600 security deposit is due in cash on check in and is returned on check out. Additional fees: 7% tourist climate tax will be charged in addition to the reservation total. We would recommend the property primarily for families with children aged 10+ as there are no pool safety gates, some stairs are steep, open and not gated, and there are steep drops from the terraces. All rooms have air conditioning and heating. Extra services available upon request include a chef, babysitting, massage therapy and helicopter/car/boat hire. WiFi, satellite TV and DVD players are provided. As well as the beds listed below, a single stone built bed outside one of the bathrooms is also available. For groups larger than 13 people, an extra bedroom is available and charged at an additional €100 per night.

About the Location

The villa is in the Agios Sostis area in northern Mykonos, a 10-12 minute drive from Mykonos town, 10 minutes from Mykonos Airport and 15 minutes from Mykonos Port. It is 10 minutes on foot from Agios Sostis beach, which has golden sands and a traditional tavern. Panormos Beach, nearby, also has an authentic Greek restaurant and an array of watersports and activities including beach volleyball and kayaking. Car rental is recommended. The villa has parking space for up to 6 cars.

Accommodation Details

The villa is set over 3 levels. The middle level has a lounge and a large kitchen with informal dining room and the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. On the top floor there are 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms with full/double bed and 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds). The lower level of the villa has a separate entrance and includes a bedroom with a full/ double bed, a sitting room with twin bed, small kitchen and bathroom. Outside spaces include the pool with pool bar and sunny terraces. An extra bedroom is available for large groups and is on the pool level. It has a double bed, ensuite bathroom and kitchenette.

Style Notes

Sophisticated and elegant. The villa has traditional Cycladic architecture and all bedrooms have view to the sea. From the outside, the smooth-edged building is sophisticated; the inside is pared back with mainly white and cream colors. The bamboo pergola is a relaxing place to enjoy cold drinks and aperitifs prepared from the outside pool bar. We love the garden seating areas, the candles in the fireplaces and the Aegean views from every room.

Kid & Coe will charge an additional 7% tourist climate tax on top of the reservation fee, to be paid out to the host.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
