Parents will appreciate the beautifully designed residence with plenty of vintage and modern touches. It’s an aesthetically pleasing but practical space with room for the family to spread out. The reading room is packed with books and there’s also yoga mats and free weights to keep up fitness routines while away. A deck is perfect for soaking up the Nashville sunshine.

Why Kids Love it

Kids can get outside in the large, fenced backyard here and the porch swing will be a favourite spot to hang out or curl up with a book. You can pack light with baby / toddler equipment provided: a high chair, Pack ‘n’ Play, dinnerware books, a hiking backpack and more. Kids will enjoy the toys and books on offer too. The kids’ room with 2 twin / single beds are comfortable with good quality linen. There is a wide range of family-friendly burger joints, pizza places and Mexican restaurants within an easy walk or 2 to 5 minutes’ drive.

Please note that the primary bedroom is located on the 1st floor while other bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. Young children may need assistance when navigating the staircase. The hosts can make babysitter recommendations for your stay or help you plan family-friendly days out. The property across the street from a bus route that provides direct access to downtown and taxis are easily available. A car is recommended to experience all that Nashville has to offer.

About the Location

This home is located in a residential street in the east of the city, with the attractions of downtown Nashville a quick 10-minute drive over the bridge. Explore the honky-tonks, catch a show at the Ryman Auditorium, or visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. Riverside Village is less than a mile away and features a variety of local restaurants and bars, including Dose, a coffee house and breakfast spot by day, wine and cocktail bar by night, and Mitchell's Deli, featured on the Food Network. There's also a large liquor store, Wingstop, and Sid Gold's Request Room within walking distance. The famous 5 Points neighborhood is a 5-minute drive away. Nashville International Airport is about 20 minutes by car.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and breakfast table, a separate dining room seating 8 and a living room with seating and an open concept hallway with a fireplace. The kingsize primary bedroom and attached bathroom are located on the 1st floor and off the kitchen. Upstairs, you'll find 1 kingsize, 1 queensize and 1 kids’ room with 2 twin / single beds and a family bathroom. Also on this floor is a reading room with a library, coloring activities, yoga mats, and free weights. Outside there is a front porch with lounge seating and a swing seat. To the rear is a raised deck with outside dining and seating and a fenced in grass area for ball games.

The living room has plenty of space for everyone to relax and the dining table is great for family feasts or game night. The deck has a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and is perfect for summer BBQs. We love the wine wall in the kitchen, the artwork and snuggly blankets in the living room, the hotel-style bedrooms and bathrooms, and the record player with vinyl that includes (who else?) Nashville-legend, Johnny Cash.
