Perks for the Parents

This charming family apartment with a sunny wraparound terrace is a short walk from local playgrounds and a short drive from the sea. Well set up for families, it has a full kitchen and family-sized dining area inside and outside on the terrace, with a shade for sunny days. There is a large outside barbecue. It takes just under an hour to walk to the sea and is a short walk from local supermarkets including an organic one.

Why Kids Love it

The apartment has plenty of toys and books for kids under 4 and is a great family space with a living room large enough for wheeled toys. It’s a short walk from local playgrounds (Chambrun Park in particular) and there are a lot of lovely beaches a short drive away. The kids room is bright and colorful. A travel crib, Maclaren stroller, Stokke high chair, baby toys and a baby bath can all be provided on request.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 6 days. The apartment is safe and secure on the third floor with keyed elevator entry and reinforced door. It is on 1 level with no stairs. There is a large terrace all around the apartment - it is child-safe but young children should be supervised. There is a secure garage in the basement; the owner’s car may be available on demand (with a kids seat) or the garage can be free if needed. There is free parking everywhere nearby.

About the Location

This residence is in the Chambrun neighborhood in the north of Nice. It is approximately 50 minutes from the sea by foot and 10 minutes by car. Car rental is recommended: there are some fantastic places to explore nearby including Monaco (20 minutes away) and Cannes (30 minutes away). There are also several bus stops near the residence running to Port de Nice and the airport. By car, the airport is around 20 minutes away.

Accommodation Details

This 2-bedroom rooftop apartment includes a large wraparound terrace and private elevator. It is in a quiet 10-apartment building. There is a large open plan lounge-diner and kitchen and a spacious living room with a view on the terrace. There is reverse air conditioning in each area. The living room includes a double sofa bed; bedrooms have a full/double bed and a toddler bed, with cribs available on request. The bathroom has a tub with shower over it.

Style Notes

Bright, light, modern and sophisticated. The apartment has playful primary color accents in the children’s room, a sleek modern bathroom with gray tiles and a large shower head, and fun design touches throughout, including a geometric print wall in the kitchen. We love the views, the plants and outdoor lounge on the terrace, and the stuffed toy heads on the wall of the children’s bedroom.

"Ce qui compte c'est le chemin, pas la destination" this is why we love to travel everywhere! Our 3 years old son Louis loves Rugby, swimming in the sea and playing with his cars! We need to feel comfortable and confident with families sharing the same way of life

Nice , French Riviera

Artists, angels and the Mediterranean sea

Set on the Bay of Angels, Nice has more than enough to entertain all the family, from amusement parks to museums and plenty in between. Start at the Promenade des Anglais, the 5km seafront promenade that you can stroll, cycle, rollerblade or skateboard, before choosing a perfect spot on the pebbly beach to play. The Marc Chagalle and Matisse museums are worth a visit, as is the old town, with its characterful squares and colorful flower market on a Monday.
