Take a quick drive up to Pier 39 to spot the resident sea lions, ride on waterfront amusements, and grab some ice cream. This is also the area to take a boat ride over to the notorious Alcatraz prison.
Why Kids Love it
The house has lots of toys and books for children under 8, including a mini trampoline and wobble board. The hosts are happy to supply a pack n’ play portable crib, stroller and kid/utility wagon on request. There are plenty of green spaces and playgrounds to explore in this family-friendly city: Noe town square and Noe Recreation center are both within walking distance. Further afield, it’s easy to reach Golden Gate Park and Science Museum, the beautiful sandy beaches on the west coast, or the San Francisco Zoo (all around 15 minutes’ drive).

Minimum stay: 4 nights. Discounted monthly bookings may be available during the summer upon request. Safety notes: the residence is primarily on the second floor up 1 flight of steps, and the patio is downstairs, at the back. There is space in the private gated entry way for strollers. The house comes with children’s utensils, window guards, a dishwasher, washer/dryer (located behind the garage on the lower level), a TV in the main bedroom and WiFi. The house is not air conditioned but air purifiers and fans are available if needed. Housekeeping services are available for additional fees. Parking in the property's garage may be available for an additional fee or for free on the street. Public transport is easily accessible and advised with access bus, tram, and subway lines on foot.

The house is located in the Noe Valley neighborhood of San Francisco, USA. It’s around 20 minutes’ drive from the airport. This is a family-friendly area with playgrounds, coffee shops, restaurants and more. It’s just 10 minutes’ walk from Noe Valley’s 24th Street town square, which boasts a Whole Foods and a farmers market on Saturdays. It’s easy to get around on foot or via public transport: Church St & Clipper St tram stop is just 6 minutes’ walk, and it’s just over 10 minutes from 24th St Mission subway station, for access to Union Square and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (just 10 minutes by train). It’s a 5-minute drive (or a 30-minute walk) to Dolores Park.

The main living areas (on the upper floor) are open plan, consisting of a stylish and cozy living room, full dining area and kitchen with a breakfast nook (seating 3) at the counter. The primary bedroom features a queensize bed and a Peloton bike for guests to use during their stay. The second bedroom has 1 single bed and can also fit a pack’n’play or travel crib. The final bedroom features a set of bunk beds - ideal for kids to share. Outside, there is a sunny backyard patio with seating for 4 and heat lamps, making it a cozy spot all year round.

This stylish modern house boasts a recently-refurbished kitchen (featuring stainless steel Bosch appliances) and a contemporary open plan layout, showcasing a stunning dining area with marble table and colorful Eames chairs. The minimalist fireplace and the lush green indoor plants add to the mid-century flair, and the luxurious bathroom comes with a heated tiled floor. We love the unique art in the living room, the chic tiling on the fireplace, and the retro drop pendant lights over the dining table.
