Stroll along nearby Westbourne Grove to visit some of the capital’s most popular restaurants, including Ottolenghi, Farmacy and Sunday in Brooklyn, as well as heaps of exclusive and independent boutiques. This beautiful neighborhood is renowned for its pastel-painted townhouses and vibrant street market, so you’ll never run out of ideas for fun days out in your local surroundings.

Why Kids Love it

While the apartment doesn’t have toys or books for kids, it’s in a fun and vibrant area with lots to see and do for children. It’s just 10 minutes’ walk to Holland Park, which has a playground and is home to the Design Museum. Older kids and teens will love exploring the nearby markets of Portobello Road (younger visitors may spot some scenes from the Paddington movie) and it’s just a 5-minute taxi ride to Hyde Park, where there are fantastic playgrounds, an open water swimming lake and more.

Things to Know

This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period. Many of the windows of this home face onto a main road, which means that traffic can often be heard, even with the windows closed. Whilst there is a small lift in the apartment building that takes you up to the third floor, there are stairs up from street-level to the lift. This home does not accept pets. Whilst this home's maximum occupancy is five, the trundle bed in the second bedroom is more suited for a child. The common parts in the building show some signs of wear and tear. This home has a communal heating system which is set by the building management company. There is construction taking place opposite to the building this home is in, but no noise can be heard. About the Location

Located in the popular West London neighborhood of Notting Hill, you’re less than ten minutes away from Ladbroke Grove tube station on foot. From here, you can hop on and head right into the heart of Central London. It’s just 5 minutes’ walk to Portobello Road, known for its street market selling antiques, as well as THAT blue door. The nearest airport is Heathrow (less than 1 hour by car or train).

Accommodation Details

The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, on the third floor of the building. The unique living space includes an integrated kitchen, clever banquette dining table and living area. The primary bedroom features a kingsize bed, while the second bedroom has 3 single beds, ideal for kids. Both bedrooms share a bathroom with underfloor heating and a shower-over-bathtub. Please note there is no outdoor space.

Cancellation policy
Applicable to stays up to 60 nights: If guests need to cancel, we refund 50% of the booking value, up to 14 days before the arrival date. Should guests cancel within 14 days of the arrival date, the booking will be non-refundable. Applicable to stays of 60 nights or more: If guests wish to cancel, we refund 50% of the first 60 nights, up to 14 days before the arrival date. Should guests cancel within 14 days of arrival the first 60 booked days are non-refundable. During the stay, guests are able to cancel at any time within 30 days notice; the remaining nights of the stay will be refundable, however, the first 60 days will remain non-refundable. In addition to the hosts policy which is listed here, all cancellations are subject to a Kid & Coe cancellation fee of 15% of the booking total.

This pretty, arty and desirable area of West London has characterful streets of Georgian and Victorian houses, the vibrant Portobello Market on a Saturday and easy access to the rest the city. Close to Kensington Garden and Palace, it has Gloucester Road’s blockbuster museums on the doorstep, including the V&A, Natural History Museum and Science Museum. And - tell the kids - it’s also the area that Paddington Bear calls home.

Hello! This flat was very charming! The beds were extremely comfortable and each bedroom had ample closet space. The neighborhood was delightful, a very quick walk to shops, bakeries, restaurants, and Portobello Road market. A bus stop is around the corner and it was an easy walk to a number of tube stations. The rental company was responsive and helped with a few minor issues we had during our stay. The flat includes access to a very lovely garden (with a playground!) where we enjoyed a picnic one afternoon! The rental company also assisted us with booking airport transfers and acquiring tickets to a premier league football match. Overall, I can't recommend this property enough!
