There was a small snafu with the connecting rooms we booked and confirmed in advance. Since we were traveling with two small children. Upon arrival we were told they weren’t available the first night of our stay. They offered us two larger rooms but they weren’t connected and were separated by an elevator. We all stayed together the first night in one room and then moved to the connecting rooms for the rest of our stay. Not ideal but it also didn’t ruin our trip. The hotel itself is in a great location and has a very hip atmosphere. Other than the room issue, which they profusely apologized about, we had a great stay.

The staff is excellent and the room set-up for the 3 of us was great.

Notting Hill, London

Movie stars, museums and the market

This pretty, arty and desirable area of West London has characterful streets of Georgian and Victorian houses, the vibrant Portobello Market on a Saturday and easy access to the rest the city. Close to Kensington Garden and Palace, it has Gloucester Road’s blockbuster museums on the doorstep, including the V&A, Natural History Museum and Science Museum. And - tell the kids - it’s also the area that Paddington Bear calls home.
