Style Notes

Quintessential London. High ceilings and period features meet chic modern design in this beautifully renovated townhouse apartment. Large sash windows flood in plenty of natural light, alongside garden views in the bedrooms, brightened by a largely neutral palette and a clever use of mirrors. Versailles parquet flooring and beautiful textiles add warmth and texture, with statement chandeliers adding an elegant finishing touch in the open plan living areas. Handpicked art, and striking photographs weave further character, sitting comfortably next to pretty vintage furnishings. We love the custom cabinetry in the living room and kitchen, with the inviting window seat providing both clever storage and an inviting place to curl up with a book or a coffee and watch the world go by.

Notting Hill, London

Movie stars, museums and the market

This pretty, arty and desirable area of West London has characterful streets of Georgian and Victorian houses, the vibrant Portobello Market on a Saturday and easy access to the rest the city. Close to Kensington Garden and Palace, it has Gloucester Road’s blockbuster museums on the doorstep, including the V&A, Natural History Museum and Science Museum. And - tell the kids - it’s also the area that Paddington Bear calls home.
