Style Notes

Retro chic. A light, design-led residence that couples Scandinavian influence with vintage style to create a smart and comfortable city haven. A contemporary glass extension draws in plenty of natural light, while beautiful parquet flooring and a cozy earthy palette set a serene and relaxing tone. Vintage posters compliment mid-century modern furniture, with 4 Eames chairs in the kitchen and iconic red seating in the living room. We love the newly built kitchen with its sleek blue units, metro tiles and classic scandi style. Notting Hill, London

Movie stars, museums and the market

This pretty, arty and desirable area of West London has characterful streets of Georgian and Victorian houses, the vibrant Portobello Market on a Saturday and easy access to the rest the city. Close to Kensington Garden and Palace, it has Gloucester Road’s blockbuster museums on the doorstep, including the V&A, Natural History Museum and Science Museum. And - tell the kids - it’s also the area that Paddington Bear calls home.
