Perks for the Parents

This fully staffed beachfront villa with an infinity pool sleeps up to 14 and is set on endless miles of virgin beach with a main house plus 3 bungalows. An ideal spot for a large family group or multiple families traveling together, it includes a cook, cleaning service and pool boy/valet to help with general needs. A nanny service can be provided in addition. To make your stay easy, a housekeeper/administrator helps guests by arranging transportation, food delivery, menu preparation, tours, and more. Relax in the house, garden, bungalows and back yard, or explore the miles of sand just steps away. The house has a large fully-equipped kitchen plus a grill and bar next to the pool area.

Why Kids Love it

The villa has a pool, large garden, and endless miles of virgin beach. Kids will be able to fully enjoy the outdoors, watch a movie in the large screen TV, or enjoy music through bluetooth speakers. The villa is suitable for all ages, but we recommend a nanny for the younger ones, pool is not gated and is very close to the main living areas, and the ocean is close by. There are a few drops from the pool deck down to the garden – young children need supervision. The town of Zicatela, renowned for its surfing, is a 15-20-minute drive away. During the day it is a surfing hotspot, and at night, the town comes to life under the lights of the many restaurants.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 3 nights, but for Christmas and New Years, a 7-night minimum is required. Reduced rates available for long-term stays. Rates listed are for 4 guests; there is a $75 fee for each additional person. Extra guest fees do not apply for "Semana Santa," Christmas, New Years and the week after New years as this is included in the rate. Note that there are some areas of concern for those traveling with children under 6 – the pool is not gated and is close to the house and there are steps/drops around the poolside area and bar. We only recommend this property to those with children under 6 if they have a nanny (or book the nanny service). Car rental or a driver are essential for exploring this area. The property has Starlink internet.

About the Location

The residence is in Los Naranjos, 10-15 minutes from Zicatela and 25 minutes from Mazunte. It is set right on the beach beside the Pacific Ocean. Zicatela is known for its great surf waves and active nightlife. Huatulco is around an hour and a half away. The closest airport is the Puerto Escondido airport about 20-25 minutes away. The secondary airport is in Huatulco. Near the villa there are many lagoons, parks, and beautiful beaches which are fun to explore and visit.

Accommodation Details

This 7-bedroom villa has a master house with 4 rooms, each with a kingsize bed and an ensuite bathroom, and 3 separate bungalows, 1 with a kingsize beds, 1 with 2 queensize beds,1 with 4 single beds, and each with an ensuite bathroom. The whole property is laid out horizontally, with a pool in front of the dining room, living room, and the 2 main bedrooms. Past the pool, the villa has a beautiful garden leading to the beach. The backyard, where the bungalows are located, is carefully cared for, and decorated with a variety of plants and trees.

Style Notes

Modern Mexico. The villa is modern and minimalist, with carefully planned touches of bright colors. It is decorated with mostly local materials and craftsmanship, and maintains the style of all the houses within the private community. The ceiling is made of hand-woven dried palm trees that blend well with the marble and onyx lamps and decorations. We love the incredible ocean views, bright spacious bedrooms and welcoming, colorful living space with its high ceilings, wicker pods and large sofas.

My family and I love travelling, specially within Mexico. We believe that Mexico is one of the most magical countries to visit due to all of its diversity. While I do not have kids, my sister does and I really enjoy spending time with both of them. I am joining Kid&Coe thanks to its growing popularity, as well as to share a little bit of Mexico with as many people as possible.

Oaxaca Coast, Mexico

Near-empty pristine beaches, surf shacks and dolphins

This lesser-known stretch of Pacific Mexico is a hidden treat. Think: near-empty pristine beaches, dolphins and whales playing in the waves and some of the country's best surf. The 70-mile stretch of coastal Oaxaca between Puerto Escondido and Huatulco is rich in biodiversity - sea turtles come here to breed - and includes pretty underdeveloped beach towns, yoga retreats and jungle to explore.

This house is a wonderful family gathering spot. There is ample space for big groups and the setting is incredible - a virtually private beach right out the front gate. We had such a special time here and the staff took such great care of us with amazing food, drinks and hospitality. We'd love to return one day. The ONLY downside was a few nights of really loud parties from neighbors. Other than that our stay was perfect.
