My husband & I love living in Amsterdam but also enjoy traveling to the outdoors and other cities. We have 2 adorable boys & lead a very active life. Our boys love playing soccer or other sports in our garden or the nearby parks. My husband is a commercial manager & I am an industrial psychologist. We enjoy eating out but also love cooking. We can tell you all about the great places to visit in the city and around it as well as the best places to dine & wine.

Oosterparkbuurt, Amsterdam

Vibrant and multicultural

Approximately 10 minutes from Old Town by car or taxi, Oosterparkbuurt is close to the city’s major tourist attractions but maintains an authentic, residential atmosphere. Take in a concert at the park’s bandstand, meet butterflies, penguins and elephants at Artis Royal Zoo, or search for treasures at the Dappermarkt, named one of the top 10 shopping streets in the world by National Geographic.
