Style Notes

Vintage modern artist’s home. This spacious artist's home tastefully combines modern and vintage wares and all rooms have a theme based on the works of art displayed. Chandeliers hang from the ceilings, peacock chairs rest in a lounge area and a sweeping staircase defines the hall. A wall of windows overlooks the huge yard with a pool, spa, city and amazing mountain views. We love the spacious bedrooms, the comfortable light-filled lounges and the convenience of the location for a family trip to southern California.

As a first generation California native, born to a German father and Panamanian mother, I've been traveling since early childhood. From my parents examples, I have always immersed myself in international cultures, cuisines, and languages. I've traveled extensively throughout Europe, Canada, much of the United States, Central America, and Thailand. I studied in Europe (Germany & Switzerland) and graduated from U.C. Berkeley. I've lived in San Francisco, Seattle, New York City, Panama City, but Newport Beach, California is home base. My husband Scott is an avid surfer who also loves to travel. Together we have two children, a boy and a girl. They have been raised with the beach as their backyard. Our beach home caters to the needs of travelers, especially those with children, since we know what it's like to feel at home away from home.

Orange County, California

Mickey, Minnie and a whole lot more...

Orange County, California is known the world over for its citrus-growing climate, world-class beaches and unbeatable amusement parks including Knott’s Berry Farms. The only thing that makes it tricky for parents is deciding what to do: should you spend the day at the beach, building sandcastles, riding waves or eating in retro cafés, or the day in San Diego, checking out culture, museums and the city? The good news is that there’s plenty here for everyone: mom and dad can dine out in gourmet restaurants, teens can shop in outdoor malls and fresh air lovers can hike, bike, surf, ride and stand up paddleboard, just for starters.
