Perks for the Parents

Set in a quiet community under 10 minutes from Disney, this welcoming 1-story residence with a pool has a garden, games room and plenty of space to play. The location is excellent for family fun - under an hour from the Gulf Coast and a short drive from a wide selection of theme parks. It is a retreat from the action too, with a lovely garden set in a calm lake-centered community. Along with a well-equipped family kitchen, there is a full laundry and a games area in the garage. The Magic Kingdom is a 15-minute drive with Disney World itself about 8 minutes' drive away.

Why Kids Love it

The USA’s major theme parks are a short drive away. The house is well set up with 2 twin bedrooms for kids, plus a great garden, pool with pool toys, and games room with air hockey and a pool table. The street is quiet enough for children to safely play on it. The Gulf Coast beaches are under an hour’s drive away. The hosts can provide a great selection of items for those with younger children: a high chair, pack 'n' play, and 2 different strollers, plus a full size crib by arrangement.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 5 days. The pool is easily accessed from the house, however all doors are equipped with a pool door alarm or child safety latches with automatic closers to prevent children accessing the pool on their own. Guests have access to a pass code to get cheaper theme park tickets; hosts can advise about visiting theme parks and attractions nearby. Every bedroom has a TV and DVD player; the lounge has a widescreen TV with 295 channels. There is an XBox and high speed WiFi. Car hire is recommended. The property sleeps a total of 8; cribs can be made available on request. A security deposit of $500 is taken by the host just prior to arrival, payable by credit card, and refunded in full after departure assuming everything is left in good shape.

About the Location

The residence is southwest of Orlando in Loughman, FL in an ideal location for visiting the local theme parks. Walt Disney World is 10 minutes’ drive away and Universal Studios, Sea World, (20 minutes) and LegoLand (30 minutes) are all close by. Daytona Beach, Tampa, Clearwater Beach, the Kennedy Space Center are all about an hour's drive away. The home is at the end of a cul de sac on a residential estate with a central 40-acre lake and plenty of friendly neighbors.

Accommodation Details

This 4-bedroom family home has 3 double bedrooms (1 with queen bed, 2 with 2 twin beds) and a full bath on one side of the home and the master bedroom with full bathroom and walk-in closet on the other side. It is all on 1 level. There is a full kitchen with breakfast bar open to the lounge and a full dining area. There is a covered deck with a pool attached to the house and there is a games room and a landscaped garden with Florida forest, palm trees and a small pond.

Style Notes

Modern and comfortable. The family home is light and airy with plenty of spaces for entertainment and relaxation. The garden has palm trees and a lawn and is ideal for kids who love to run about; inside the spacious kitchen-living area make it easy for a family to relax together. The pool area has views of the beautifully landscaped garden and is a great place to relax after a day exploring Florida’s beaches or a long day at Disney.

Central Florida’s Atlantic Coast beaches are gorgeous: white sand, clear water and miles and miles of space to play, while the region’s theme parks and water parks are the best in the world. Find a quiet spot if you can and discover natural springs, where you can swim or kayak, and secluded coves home to manatees and dolphins.

This was a lovely, well located home - reasonable driving distance to Disney, Universal and Sea World, but with tons of privacy. Plenty of space and the heated pool was perfect! About an hour and a half from the beach, if you're interested in a day trip. Great for our kids/family. We had a phenomenal vacation!

Our family of 4 includes a 4 yr old and 2 yr old and we had an excellent 5 days at The Breezy Oak Villa. The location is excellent (Disney, Universal, Legoland, The Crayola Experience are all within a short drive!) The house was well appointed and clean and we had more than enough room to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe. Pool safety was incredibly important to us with two young kids and the house was set up in such a way where the pool was totally inaccessible by the kids without our help. After that we were free to enjoy the heated pool together. One thing to note, while there is a game room and a collection of children's movies and pool toys this is not a house that comes equipped with "toys" for small children. This is NOT a critique as the house doesn't claim to have a collection of toys, we were expecting this. Just be aware that we came prepared with a few small items to occupy them when we adults needed a break from the pool and screen time.
