About the Location

The villa is located 6km from Ostuni in Puglia. It’s around 20 minutes’ drive from the beautiful beaches of the Adriatic coast where families can enjoy miles of sandy beaches, sailing or diving. Nature lovers will enjoy taking guided hikes through the surrounding hills, olive groves and woodlands. The region is known for its olive oil production, which is visible in the surrounding stretches of olive groves, as well as its distinctive white-washed hill towns, centuries-old farmland and stunning Mediterranean coastline. Ostuni has a bustling and vibrant center and is characterized by white, flat-topped houses across a labyrinth of tiny streets and alleys. Steeped in history, Ostuni cathedral combines Gothic, Romanesque and Byzantine elements. Ostuni is known locally as “the white city,” it overlooks the Valle d’Itria which is known as one of Puglia’s most beautiful areas. Brindisi airport is 35 minutes away; Bari airport is 1 hour 15 minutes.

Style Notes

Old meets new. Set in 4 acres of land containing more than 300 olive trees, the home feels elegant and simple, finished with a neutral color palette and traditional white stone which is intrinsic to the region. Guests will find an abundance of original features such as the stone fireplace and locally-handcrafted ceramic tiles and arched ceilings. We love the beautiful kitchen tiles which contrast well with the ancient stone, the solid timber furniture and the stylish walk-in showers.
