The East Sonora Residence

The house was so comfortable, the best vacation rental I have ever rented. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. I really appreciated the coffee and drinks they had ready for us in the fridge! My kids fully enjoyed the immense amount of toys at their disposal and I loved the pool fence! I will be renting the same house again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Bethann's home with two toddlers and an infant. I had found it very difficult to find a safe spot to stay as most houses in Palm Springs do not offer pool covers or fences. Bethann arranged a pool fence to be installed for our stay and it gave me great peace of mind. The kids enjoyed playing with the toys and we were pleasantly surprised by the infant bouncy seat. Everything was great!

Such a beautiful home! My family and another family we traveled with thoroughly enjoyed the pool, and the kids loved playing with the different toys that were on hand. Having the pool security fence in place definitely helped us relax even more.

I couldn't have loved our stay at this beautiful property in Palm Springs more! Bethann was the perfect host, and made us feel so welcome. We were travelling with 2 young children (4 and 1), and the house was perfectly equipped with a travel crib, high chair, toys, pool toys and bath tub! The location was great too, super quiet but convenient to grocery stores and downtown. The interiors are to die for too - I have taken home so much inspiration!

We had an absolute blast at the East Sonora Residence and are already planning a return visit! The home is lovely and perfectly set up for a family! Everything you need and more!

Our stay at East Sonora Residence was perrfect! Our 2 year old loved the outdoor area and the pool, as well as the open plan living / kitchen and the fully stocked toy box. The beds were all really comfortable and the pool was nice and warm. Bethann was very responsive by email and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful vacation in Palm Springs. The house was perfect for our family - so many extras that made us feel right at home. Loved that the house was stocked with toys, pool floats, life jackets, towels, books, and pretty much everything else we needed during our stay! Bethann was easy to reach and a pleasure to work with to make sure we had an outstanding experience. The home, backyard, pool, and spa are absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much for making our first Palm Springs visit a memorable one!

We LOVED staying that The East Sonora Residence. The place is beautiful in pictures but even better in real life. We were there during a cold spell but had the pool heated and were able to swim everyday. The toys were perfect for our young kids and we were so happy to have them. There was lots of space for playing (indoors and out) and it was super cozy for us parents to hang out. Bethann was also amazing and quick to respond to any questions we have. It would be a pleasure to stay at the East Sonora Residence again.

Perfect location! Quiet. We traveled with two children and felt at ease with the pool gates. Plenty of toys and books for our toddlers. We will be back :-)

Beth was extremely responsive and in touch during our stay which was greatly appreciated. While the house was sufficient it was definitely a bit more run down than we expected, we had anticipated a more luxurious feel to the home. The price paid didn't match the property.

This home met all of our expectations. Bethann was an excellent host - very responsive to emails and answered all of our questions quickly. We were able to quickly settle in to the house and it served as a great base for our stay in Palm Springs. The house is in a central location making it easy to access and explore the area.

We loved our time at the East Sonora Residence. The space was perfect and had everything we needed for our two toddlers and 4 adults. Our kiddos loved playing in the pool and we could actually relax, since it had a pool gate. We ran into a couple small issues during our stay but Bethann was so responsive and took care of everything immediately. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

We had a magical stay at the East Sonora Residence. It was the first time in ages our family felt truly relaxed while enjoying the pool, mountain views, and wonderful amenities of the home and its neighborhood. Bethann had thought through every detail and we didn't have anything to worry about. We look forward to returning again!

Our family of three (2 adults, 1 toddler) enjoyed a fabulous stay at the Sonora Residence. The home was clean, accommodating and included gorgeous grounds as you can tell by the pictures. Our host, Bethann, was communicative and addressed any/all our needs and questions leading up to the trip and during the stay. She seemed to be a veteran host and made the best suggestions for things to do and meals as well. We opted for the heated pool and gate for our October stay with a curious three-year-old. This was perfect for morning and evening swims and eased my mama nerves a bit! And there were plenty of pool toys to keep our little one entertained. The neighborhood was peaceful and conveniently located to local eateries and shops. We highly recommend this location and look forward to staying again!

We had a wonderful stay at the East Sonora Residence and can't wait to go back someday soon. We were three small families and there was ample room in the bedrooms and common spaces for all of us. We have small kids so we could sleep them in the pac&plays that we brought. It likely would not accommodate three families with older kids needing separate beds. Bethann was a very considerate host and even sent a check-in text to make sure we were all doing well. When we sent texts asking about operation of certain items, she got back to us almost immediately. The house is completely updated with everything we could have possibly needed, including play toys for the kids (floaties, noodles, etc). One of our main reasons for selecting this listing was the availability of a pool fence for kid safety. It was fully set up when we got there and worked great. The pool and spa controls are handled via an iphone that was easy to use, unlike a lot of places where controls are in the pool equipment room. It was an extremely rewarding family vacation mainly due to the communal feeling of BBQ-ing outside by the pool and having big family dinners inside at the massive dining room table. We would highly recommend this listing to other families.

For weeks I was looking for the perfect place for our family of four (2 under 2) to stay in Palm Springs. I was so relieved when I came across the family friendly Sonora house. With two little ones we are always worried about renting a home (safety, cleanliness, kid friendliness). The Sonora home was absolutely amazing and everything as promised. The host was super attentive and the house had everything you could possible need even with young children. We had a great time cooking and playing on the bocce ball Court. The backyard was spacious, well manicured and perfect for dining and just having fun . We also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and to the nearest shopping center for coffee. The neighborhood is quiet and the people are friendly. The best part about our stay was simply the graciousness of the host. We ran into some trouble when the area we live in was under mandatory evacuation orders due to a major fire. The host was unbelievably generous and allowed us to stay an extra night and to our surprise at no charge! What a relief since we were in such a scary situation. We were blown away by the hosts kindness and generosity. We are forever thankful. Traveling with two littles is always a little challenging, so thank you Sonora house for making it easy. Overall, the experience was no less then perfect and we would stay there again and again.

The East Sonora Residence was absolute perfection in every way! We recently visited with our two daughters, age 4 and 4 months, and the house was equipped with absolutely everything we needed, which made our trip easy and effortless—even with little ones in tow! The property was located in the perfect area near all the Palm Springs hot spots, yet tucked away on a quiet street, and the home itself was stunning and spotless with extremely beautiful and high-quality everything—fixtures, appliances, landscaping, pool and jacuzzi, air-conditioning, you name it. Also, our host couldn't have been more welcoming, thoughtful and attentive—Bethann truly thought of every single detail to make our stay an unforgettable one, and we're so incredibly grateful for her thoroughness and warmth. We highly recommend this place to any and all families looking for a relaxing getaway to Palm Springs, and we will most definitely be staying here again and again as our four-year-old is already asking when we can return! Thank you for making our summer vacation one for the books!

We are a family of six with 1 grandchild who had just turn one. We were looking for a place for all of us to come together and to relax and enjoy each other's company. The East Sonora Residence was perfect for us. Bethann, was so pleasant to work with and was on call to answer any questions we had. This location was peaceful, close to grocery stores, restaurants, and other interesting things to do, which Bethann had complied for us as well. We loved the openness of the home and of course the out door area around the pool. From the hammock, Bocce Ball court, lounge chairs by the pool, jacuzzi and sitting area in the shaded on the porch, to lounging inside, play in a pop up tent with grand child, watching the Apple TV and Hulu, there was something for everyone. The gate around the pool was perfect for keeping the little one safe and gave us a secure feeling in letting her play outside. It was so nice not having to worry about bring everything for the grandchild (crib, high chair, plates, utensil, sip up cups) and the house being child proof was a relief. They had LOTS of inside toys and pool floats ready for use. Even with the high temperatures, positioning the big pool umbrellas to shade the shallow end of the pool with the walk in steps was to perfect spot for water play for our grandchild. Having the washer and dryer available was a plus too. There were plenty of pool towels, bath towels and linens. The kitchen was also well appointed. The bath rooms were detail with soaps and body wash with towels hung as if you were in an expensive hotel. Bethann had thought of everything. Thank you again for being such a gracious Hostess.

We had an amazing stay here! The East Sonora is super family-friendly and beautifully renovated. Bethann provided us with a great list of local restaurants and attractions and she was easily reachable via text for any questions we had. Our older son would've been happy to play all day in the pool and with the many toys provided. The kitchen is well stocked, the bedrooms are spacious, and the bathrooms recently renovated. Overall a wonderful experience and we hope to be back soon!

Absolutely beautiful home. Fantastic communication between Bethann, her family and ours. I love this place so much we want to book it every year!

Bethann was a wonderful host! She reached out ahead of time to make sure we had all the information we needed and had gotten access to the house. The garage was stocked with pool toys and inside the house was very toddler friendly. We will be back again for sure!
