Accommodation Details

This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom home is in an old town building with 4 units in total, all with an elevator. This unit is on the fourth floor and has a private roof terrace with sunbathing area and table and chairs for outdoor eating. It also includes a main open plan living space with kitchen, living room, and dining area. The living room includes a comfortable Italian-designed sofa bed (160cmx200cm) only for kids under 12 years old. The bathroom has a shower. The master bedroom, at the back of the space, has a double bed and storage. The shared lobby/entrance space to the building includes a big map of Palma Old Town, a bench, WiFi and left luggage closets.

Style Notes

Cozy Nordic. Fresh and modern, this light, lovingly-transformed space has a clean modern minimalist style and plenty of pine, gray and white tones. The main living space is uncluttered and offers plenty of space to eat, play and relax. The bedroom and living room have Majorcan shutters to keep the rooms dark at night and prevent any outside noise from disturbing the peace. The location is one of the stand out features - there are uninterrupted views of the royal palace from the upper terrace. We love the fun tree trunk seats for the kids at breakfast, the leafy plants and the sun terrace, complete with deckchairs, at the top.

Palma, Mallorca

Ancient castles, blue flag beaches and a historic train

Elegant and historic, Palma is the capital of Mallorca and revels in tapas bars, historic streets and fabulous blue flag beaches. The aquarium is a must-see, with 8,000 marine creatures and a range of special kids activities from face painting to turtle feeding and shark sleepovers, while the 14th century Bellver Castle hides tunnels and secret staircases in its buildings surrounded by pine forests. Day trips to Soller, a lovely rural town, are easy on the classic Soller Railway, through countryside and tunnels, and are sure to round off a great family vacation.
