Perks for the Parents

A fun and playful Paris home in the 1st arrondissement, with colorful interiors and great spaces for kids. It sleeps up to 10. This is a great spot to explore the city, with plenty of space for siblings or for 2 families to share. It’s nestled between the Louvre and the museums of Le Marais, and you’ll be surrounded by shops, restaurants and sights. It’s a very walkable area: the river is just 10 minutes’ walk, where you can cross over to Notre Dame.

Why Kids Love it

Children will love the charming play nook and the colorful decorative accents, with quirky touches in each of the rooms. There’s plenty to do for kids in this family-friendly city, from the interactive Musée de l'Illusion (2 minutes’ walk) to the nearby fountains (Fontaine des Innocents) and the Jardin Nelson Mandela park and playground (3 minutes’ walk). There’s also an ice cream parlor just 1 block away!

Things to Know

Premium amenities include free WiFi, cable TV, hotel beds and linens, luxury toiletries, and a Nespresso machine. A crib and high chair are available on request. No smoking, pets or parties. The local law requires every guest to present an ID card/passport upon their arrival to the apartment. Deposit fees will be collected on-site. City tax applied according to the municipality laws and will vary based on number of guests and nights. A damage deposit will be collected by credit card. The deposit will be fully reimbursed a few days after check-out subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that there is no elevator to this 2nd-floor apartment. Please note, bookings made for dates over the Paris Olympics (10 July to 20 August) are non-cancellable and non-refundable.

About the Location

It’s located in the bustling Les Halles neighborhood, in the 1st arrondissement. Trees line the cobblestone streets and sidewalk cafes invite you in. World-famous shopping is down the block at Les Halles (5 minutes’ walk), and you’ll be within easy reach of gourmet bakeries, cheese shops and restaurants. Visit the fashion houses of Rue Saint-Honore (10 minutes on foot) as you stroll onwards to the Louvre Museum and the Palais Royal. The Etienne Marcel metro station is a 2-minute walk, as are several bus stops. It’s 1 minute from Les Halles metro and train stations. The airport is around 1 hour by car or half an hour by train.

Accommodation Details

The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, all set on 1 floor on the second floor of the building. There’s a light and bright living/dining room, a contemporary kitchen, and 3 bedrooms: 1 x double room (sleeping 2), 2x double room (sleeping 4), 1 x double room (sleeping 2). There is also a double sofabed for additional guests. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Please note there is no bathtub.

Style Notes

Playful and pretty. Inspired by the timeless elegance of Paris, the inviting space boasts picture windows, marble fireplaces and vintage patterned wallpaper to create a charming appeal. The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need to master the art of French cooking, while the colorful and playful interiors are great for families. We love the bubblegum pink couch, the deep teal bed boards in the quad room and the fun bird wall vinyls.

Payment policy
For cancellations notified at 3 weeks or more from the check-in date, guests can opt for a full credit equal to the value of the amount paid minus a cancellation fee of 10% of the total cost of the booking, which will be retained by Kid & Coe. We will not allow refunds for cancellations notified at 3 weeks or less from the check-in date. City tax will vary based on number of guests and nights and will be charged by the host separately once a booking has been accepted (although subject to change, the rates generally range from €0.50 to €5,75 per person, per night). Our family of 5 (kids age 14, 12, and 8) spent a lovely week at the Rue Rambuteau while in Paris in spring 2024. It's perfect for older children, with spacious bedrooms and plenty of space to spread out. The location is in a busy (although noisy) retail district, but we loved the easy access to the Louvre, Seine, Marais neighborhood, several Metro stops, and many of Paris' best bakeries and cheese shops. There are many restaurants, cafes, and grocery shops within steps of the apartment. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and easy to access with a digital key. We would stay here again!
