Style Notes
Historic home style. This lovely 1920s has all the glamor of a bygone era and was designed by Paul Williams, the first black architect to become a member of the American Institute of Architects. The home has grace, design and elegant proportions with original fireplaces, wooden beams and Williams’ original stained glass accent windows. The living room as you enter has old world charm and sprawling original wood ceilings with cosy bookshelves and a fireplace – kids will enjoy playing the guitar or other musical instruments. The kitchen is modern and large enough for entertaining. Bathrooms are white and minimalist. We love the large oak tree outside the nursery that gives a treehouse feel; the large, spacious grounds with the pool; and the charming period features throughout.
