Dreamy California style. This 1906 newly restored craftsman house shows its heritage with wood flooring and wood beams throughout. Inside is a riot of complimentary colors with yellow, blue and green mixing in the sunlight. Furniture edges towards mid-century modern with lovely 60s sideboards and low-slung coffee tables. The large, bright kitchen has a view of the backyard and a fabulous play kitchen to keep little ones happy. We love the social spaces here with plenty of room for dinner parties and gatherings; the gentlemanly style of the billiards room where you could happily lose an evening, and the wonderful outside space with so much to keep kids happy while parents can relax and swim.

Grateful for the 4 people I live with, my family, friends and the SoCal weather. Happiest when traveling somewhere tropical.

Pasadena, Los Angeles

Pasadena is a child's suburban utopia, with lazy streets perfect for biking, endless parks to choose from (start with Lacy Park) and the uber-playground Kidspace. Head to Indiana Colony Pasadena for gourmet ice cream at CoolHaus, California fresh fruit drinks at Pressed Juicery, sips at Legacy Tea and Spices, bites at Pie Hole and morning cofee at Intelligentsia. Snag some vintage finds at the Rose Bowl flea market or catch a football game at the same venue. And, for those lucky enough to be in town on or around the New Year, there's the block party of all block parties: the Rose Parade. In Pasadena, everything really is coming up roses...

What an absolutely lovely home! Nicole went the extra mile to make our family feel comfortable and left us with supplies and treats for our boys. It was better than expected and featured fantastic backyard for our family to stretch out and have fun. They've done a beautiful renovation and the house is well done and intuitive. Thank you to Nicole and her family for sharing their spectacular home with us!
