The closest beach is a short walk away. It is a 2-hour 40 minute drive from Athens airport Eleftherios Venizelos or the same travelling time via ferry or sea taxi from Piraeus port. Porto Heli is a cosmopolitan village situated on a natural harbour. The serene, undiscovered island of Spetses is 5-minute water taxi ride away or 20 minutes by sea bus.

Accommodation Details

The 4000-sqm residence has 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms divided into 2 detached villas. Each villa sleeps up to 8 with 4 bedrooms. Each villa has 2 bedrooms with twin beds, plus a kingsize bedroom and a queensize bedroom, or 1 queensize and 1 bedroom with 2 futons sleeping up to 4 people. One Villa has 2 ensuite bathrooms, one separate bathroom and an extra WC. The other has one ensuite bathroom, plus 2 other bathrooms. Both villas have their own fully-equipped kitchen and open plan dining area with fireplaces and French doors to the pool. Outside there are landscaped gardens, a covered al fresco dining area and a private pool with sun loungers.

Style Notes

Grecian luxe. The 2 villas are identical from outside, but they differ style-wise on the inside. The first is minimalist with clean, white lines and neutral furnishings, while the other is house and garden-style with boho details of big lamps and colourful, ethnic rugs and cushions. Both are designed with comfort and luxury in mind. We love the high-quality fittings and exposed painted beams, the gorgeous outside space and the view out over the sea.

Peleponnese, Greece Mainland

Myths, legends and perfect beaches

From ancient ruins to postcard-perfect beaches, the Peleponnese peninsula in southern Greece is at the heart of the nation's myths and legends, the place where Odysseus' son started his search for his father, where classical civilization draws its rich history. You don't have to range around ruins and ancient sites - the beaches and mountains are dazzling on their own - but it would be a shame to miss the ruins at Mystra, Olympia, Mycenae or Corinth. Dine on fresh local fish, take boat trips and swim in crystal clear water.
