In the heart of rural Perugia, this 2-bedroom apartment with a pool is extremely well set up for families with children of all ages. It is part of a boutique estate sharing play areas, pools and facilities, including cooking classes, English-speaking babysitters and massages for adults. Homemade arrival and evening meals are available any time and there is a weekly pizza making evening for all families. Local delights include pretty villages, water parks, Lake Trasimeno and plenty of cultural towns, including Montepulciano and Arezzo, an hour’s drive away.

Why Kids Love it

The estate has 2 play areas with swings, slides and climbing frames and 2 swimming pools, 1 for toddlers and 1 with a diving board and shallow area. There is also a full sized gypsy caravan and wooden train with a carriage plus a zip wire and tree house. Older children can play on the table tennis and table football. Once a week there is a pizza making evening which is great for socialising (weather and numbers permitting). Toys, books and games are provided for children of all ages. Childminding and a kids club are offered.

Things to Know

Minimum stays: 5 days, 7 days in July, August and at half terms. There are exterior stairs to access the apartment, but it is on 1 level inside. The stairs up to the apartment are shallow, wide and easy to use. The pool is gated and solar-heated. TV, DVD and WiFi available. Baby equipment includes cribs, high chair, booster seat, baby bath, baby monitor, plastic crockery, bed guards, buggy, backpack to name a few items.

About the Location

This charming apartment is located in the hills overlooking the towns and villages of Perugia. It is a quiet, rural area - car rental is essential. There are lots of play parks in the area if your family want to explore; nearby there is Lake Trasimeno with its beach and pedalos, or go further afield to visit water parks. For the more adventurous, head to the tree top climbing parks or waterfalls. Perugia airport is 40 minutes away.

Accommodation Details

This 2-bedroom apartment has a large open plan lounge-diner and adjacent kitchen. There is a breakfast patio with a larger patio on a lower level with barbecue, table, chairs and loungers. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and the second bedroom has 2 twin/single beds. There is a large bathroom with shower and baby bath. The estate has 2 swimming pools, gardens, playgrounds and more.

Style Notes

Bright and airy. Stunning views from all the windows makes waking up a pleasant experience. Local craftsmanship and Umbrian style is shown in the wooden ceilings, complemented by handmade terracotta flooring. The interior space is laid out to make it as easy to use for a family as possible. We love the covered patio area outside, ideal for a sunny breakfast, the play areas and the views of the green hillsides.

The balance payment is due 10 weeks before check in.
Cancellation policy
When a booking is accepted and the deposit is paid, no refunds are given. The balance payment is due 10 weeks before check in. If a guest wishes to cancel a booking, the host will try to re-sell the dates. This may result in the host offering the dates at a reduced cost. If the host is successful in re-selling the dates, the guest will be refunded the amount recovered from the new guest. We strongly recommend that all guests take out adequate travel insurance to cover all eventualities. In addition to the host’s policy which is listed here, all cancellations are subject to a Kid & Coe cancellation fee of 15% of the booking total.
