Perks for the Parents

In the heart of rural Perugia, this 2-bedroom apartment is part of a boutique estate sharing play areas, pools and facilities. Cooking classes, English-speaking babysitters and massages for adults are available along with homemade arrival and evening meals and a weekly pizza making night for all families. Local delights include pretty villages, water parks, Lake Trasimeno and plenty of cultural towns, including Montepulciano and Arezzo, an hour’s drive away. The apartment, estate and grounds are ideal for families who want to relax and enjoy the sun and let their kids roam.

Why Kids Love it

The estate has 2 play areas with swings, slides and climbing frames and 2 swimming pools, 1 for toddlers and 1 with a diving board and shallow area. There is also a full sized gypsy caravan and wooden train with a carriage plus a zip wire and tree house. Older children can play on the table tennis and table football. Once a week there is a pizza making evening which is great for socialising (weather and numbers permitting). Toys, books and games are provided for children of all ages. Childminding and a kids club are offered. There are friendly cashmere goats which will eat from your hand and love to be fed.

Things to Know

Minimum stays: 5 days, 7 days in July, August and at half terms. The pool is gated and solar-heated. TV, DVD and WiFi available. Baby equipment includes cribs, high chair, booster seat, baby bath, baby monitor, plastic crockery, bed guards, buggy, backpack to name a few items. There is a gate on the main door to the apartment so you can keep the children in whilst still getting fresh air. There are no steep drops outside that have not been fenced. All windows have shutters to keep out the light and bug screens to keep out the mosquitos.

About the Location

This charming apartment is located in the hills overlooking the towns and villages of Perugia. It is a quiet, rural area - car rental is essential. There are lots of play parks in the area if your family want to explore; nearby there is Lake Trasimeno with its beach and pedalos, or go further afield to visit water parks. For the more adventurous, head to the tree top climbing parks or waterfalls. Perugia airport is 40 minutes away, with the city of Perugia itself approximately 30 minutes away by car.

This 2-bedroom, 1-floor apartment has an openplan lounge-diner and kitchen, plus a private patio with views of hill top villages and the national park of Monte Tezio. There is a master bedroom with kingsize bed, and a twin bedroom. The twin bedroom has 2 single beds that can made into bunk beds and a third bed or crib added as required. Style Notes

Bright and modern. The apartment is furnished with families in mind, and has a spacious living space and a gated door mean that everyone can be happy both inside and out. The apartment has terracotta flooring and wooden ceilings in the traditional Umbrian style. We love the classic style of the master bedroom, the mountain views and the cozy children’s bedroom.

We are a British family and have lived in Italy for over 16 years. Both our children were born in Italy and are fluent in English and Italian. We love to travel around Italy as there is always so much to see but also love the Far East as it is so different to Europe. Our apartments are 100% established for families on holiday and we decided to join Kid and Coe to ensure that clients of Kid and Coe could share our accommodation too.
