This glamorous South of France villa with a heated swimming pool sleeps up to 8 adults and 6 children plus 2 babies and is close to the town of Pézenas. It’s a beautiful family home, with pared back decor and lovely outdoor lounging and seating areas. The pool is the perfect place to play, and if you want to visit the beach, Sète is just under an hour’s drive away. We love the laid back luxurious style and the sense of space. It’s a great spot for a large family gathering, a holiday with a group of friends and their kids, or a multigenerational break. Note that there are balconies and ungated stairs so small kids might require supervision. The family's housekeeper stops by daily to make beds and tidy up - this extra perk is included in your nightly rate.

What we love

  • The atmosphere here is calm, luxurious and peaceful, with wood beams, tiled floors and glass chandeliers
  • Stand out features include the heated 12 x 7m pool and the outdoor space, made for lounging
  • We also love dreaming of having dinner in the balmy evening air under the large fig tree
  • Inside, there’s a large open plan lounge-diner-kitchen and a separate cozy lounge. The kitchen has double ovens, a ceramic induction hob, two large fridges, one freezer, juicer, blender
  • It comfortably sleeps 10 adults (in 4 ensuite rooms and one large double) and 4 children (in three further rooms) and 2 babies in cots
  • Note that two of the bedrooms have a freestanding bath in the bedroom area ie no wall separates the bedroom and bathroom
  • The enormous master suite at the top of the house has doors to a private roof terrace with loungers and a large TV
  • There’s an additional office area with Mac and printers in case you need it
  • The Apple TV in the living room has 150 films, half of which are suitable for all ages, plus over 400 DVDs categorised by age
  • The nearest town, Pézenas, has about 100 antique shops plus an amazing bead shop

Things to know

  • The nearest airports are in Béziers (30 minutes) and Montpellier (50 minutes)
  • Car hire is recommended to explore the nearby area and day trip to the beach
  • Marsellian is only 20 minutes away, with a lovely beach, a chic little port and fish restaurants
  • There are beaches 20 minutes away and beach toys including skim boards to borrow

  • 2 cribs are available for babies, with bedding, and there is a high chair
  • Toys and games include bikes, a table tennis table, a large trampoline, a climbing frame, pool toys, DVDs, Playstation, a games room, multiple toy boxes, art supplies and more

This was our second time staying at the house, and hopefully won't be the last. We had a great time with our wider family for an 80th Birthday. Great house which the kids and all the adults loved. Can't recommend the house and the host enough who we really thoughtful and helpful during our stay.

We stayed at The Fabrique Avenue Residence during the summer and had a fantastic time. The house was beautiful, clean and spacious. It was brilliant for a family holiday where we could all be together but still have sufficient space. The layout was perfect, the pool superb. Very well equipped too and Jamilla was lovely. We hope to be back! Thank you Jon and Family, you were great hosts, The Conroy Family.

We enjoyed a truly wonderful stay at the Fabrique Avenue Residence. Everything was absolutely perfect for our group of families. The house was super stylish, incredibly comfortable and child friendly. We loved the beautiful (and very big) pool, sitting under the fairy lights at night in the outdoor dining area and of course the huge living space. Jon was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The area was beautiful. We loved visiting the antiques shops and market in Pezenas and the pretty harbour in Marsellian. We can't wait to visit again, we cannot think of a more perfect place to spend our holiday.

our 3rd stay at this wonderful property and another fantastic experience. Everything is presented very well with huge spaces for kids to play inside and out, table tennis, superb pool and play area. We had lazy days by the pool, morning trips to the boulangerie 100 yards away and long lunches enjoying the local cuisine and wine. We will be back. Thanks again Jon and family.

Absolutely AMAZING!! Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It is exactly as shown in the pictures. Loved the heated salt water swimming pool, the backyard, and all the plenty of toy boxes. I would highly recommend the place. We are sure to come back again next year!! And not to mention the neighbord baker... I already miss the quiche there!!

Our second visit to this wonderful house. We just loved it once again and took a new family with us. Everything was as we remembered and in great condition and beautifully prepared for our arrival. Jamie tidied and cleaned the house most mornings and our children loved playing with her. We ate, drank, swam, bathed in the sunshine and had a very relaxing week. We especially liked eating out at La Pacheline, Marseillan - one of the host Jon's recommendations. We will be back!. Thanks

We had an absolutely amazing time at your house and have returned to the UK complete advocates of the languedoc region and The Fabrique Avenue Residence more specifically. With 4 children under the age of 3 I wasn't anticipating a terribly relaxing holiday but I was more than pleasantly surprised at how well The house accommodated all the kids needs and wishes. They in particular spent hours on the trampoline which was cleverly positioned under the shade of the fig, the indoor Wendy house and of course the pool which was hard to drag them out of. The DVDs and Apple TV kids movie library were also very much appreciated though I think I possibly laughed the hardest in despicable me! Putting the kids to one side, the adults found the house both stylish and practical/ well thought out. We really appreciated your thoughtful recommendations - in particular the market in pezenas and the lovely quayside restaurant in Marseillan. We also discovered a few of our own such as wine tours ( on your bikes!!) for picpoul de pinet and some spectacular wild swimming at the Pont du diable.

We had the most amazing stay - the house is beautiful and the weather was perfect. We spent lots of time in the pool and relaxing outside. We all agreed on how well the house was appointed - having stayed in lots of houses where you are hunting for things in the kitchen, we always found what we needed. And the apple tv, multiple washing machines, amazingly comfortable beds - it was all so well thought out. Jamilla was also a great help. So a huge thank you for having us to stay! And we really hope to stay again.

We certainly loved staying at the villa - we are now in beaune but missing the villa. The trampoline is a great kid asset , and we were impressed with how beautiful and clean the villa was in general. The kitchen was great - spacious, very clean and well equipped for the large nos. Everything was very well considered, and above what we would have asked for for the kids. Thank you for a great week !

The house is wonderful! Our family had a lovely stay and hated to leave! Jamilla was extremely helpful...every morning there to keep things tidy, made an excellent dinner, went out to get us milk, got my daughter a birthday cake, and got us ice on another trip. Just loved her. The pool, toys (my kids loved the trampoline, bunny/doll house, crafts)...everything was fabulous! Plus, your recommendations were great. We enjoyed many of them. Thank you for sharing your home! It was a great week for our family.
