On warmer days, the pretty, private garden is the ideal sunny spot for parents to unwind and kids to play in, with an outdoor table for alfresco dining. The residence’s location is a real perk with cafes, bakeries, wine shops and boutiques just minutes’ walk away. Victoria and Chelsea are on the doorstep, playing host to some of the best theatre, art galleries, restaurants and boutiques that London has to offer. Pimlico tube is less than 5 minutes’ walk away providing easy access to the rest of London.

Why Kids Love it

An ideal city base for kids of all ages, with playgrounds, river walks and some of London’s best family friendly parks and museums within easy reach. The river Thames is just 10 minutes’ walk away with tow paths leading to Chelsea, Big Ben and the Tate Britain gallery, which plays host to regular events for kids and young adults. The Thames clipper boat can be caught from the Millbank pier here for a fun alternative way to see the city. Across the river is Battersea Park with acres of run around space in addition to a zoo, a boating lake, multiple playgrounds and a Go Ape treetop rope course. Victoria and Pimlico underground stations are a short walk away with fast access to the Natural History, Science and V&A museums in Kensington. For chilled out days, the residence is the perfect place to unwind with a TV room for movie screenings and plenty of garden space to spread out in.

Things to Know

This home doesn't have air-conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period. This home is split over two floors with no internal elevator. Although the entrance to this home is on the ground floor, there are a few steps up from street-level. This home does not accept pets. The fireplace in the sitting room is ornamental. The homeowner's housekeeper will attend on Friday mornings.

About the Location

The apartment is located in the upmarket Pimlico neighborhood to the south west of the city. It has a tranquil, laid-back village vibe with plenty of chic cafes, restaurants, antique shops and boutiques to explore. Sloane Square and the Chelsea Physic gardens are a 25-minute walk along pretty riverside paths where there's space to scoot or bike. The theatres and restaurants of Victoria are also close at hand, just 11 minutes’ walk away. The Tate Britain art gallery is an easy 12-minute walk, hosting regular exhibitions as well as an impressive permanent collection. Buckingham Palace and Big Ben are a short cab ride or 20 minute stroll from the residence while for cricket fans, the Oval is just across the river, about 10 minutes by car. There are underground and overland rail connections at Victoria or from Pimlico Station just over 5 minutes’ walk with fast connections to Oxford Circus, South Kensington (for the museums) and the rest of the city. For international travel, London’s City airport is 48 minutes by car and Heathrow airport is 50 minutes by car or train.

Accommodation Details

This property has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The entrance is at ground level with a few steps leading up to the front door. Towards the front of the house, guests will find a double reception room, divided into two spaces. There's an elegant sitting room with a fireplace, sofa and chairs on one side and a TV area with further seating and a home office with a desk and library shelves at the other. Towards the back is a contemporary, light-filled kitchen/diner with a table seating 4 and a modern, fully-equipped kitchen. Glass bifold doors open out onto a balcony with a staircase down to the paved private garden with an alfresco dining table seating 4. The primary and second bedrooms are downstairs, both with kingsize beds and ensuite bathrooms. The primary bedroom has access to the garden and an ensuite with a shower while the second bedroom has a hanging clothes rail and an ensuite with a roll top bath and shower. There is also an additional separate toilet on this floor.
