Perks for the Parents

Set in the exclusive Lake Naomi Club resort, this welcoming woodland retreat is a 5-minute walk to the lake for biking, fishing and boating, with tennis, water sport lessons and 3 swimming pools with a waterslide at the Lake Naomi Clubhouse. It sleeps up to 8. Guests can become temporary members of the club, which offers pool parties, tennis lessons, fitness classes, kids' activities, and more. Surrounded by a wood and close to the water, parents will enjoy the serenity of this lakeside property.

Why Kids Love it

The property is surrounded by forest and is walking distance from the pristine, sandy lakeside beach. The garden has a private patio with stone fire pit, where older kids will enjoy toasting marshmallows and a swing bench. The house is stocked with toys, books, and a football game table and there are bikes and even a kayak to borrow. At the Club House, there are plenty of activities for active kids to get stuck into, including sailing, kayaking, tennis and swimming lessons.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 2 nights. Access to the Lake Naomi Clubhouse with an indoor and outdoor pool is available with temporary membership, and fees apply. Fees depend on the season and how long you stay, and allow access to private pools, spa, sauna, fitness, tennis and golf. There is a guard provided for the wood-burning stove. However, there are several sharp corners in the living room, steep stairs with no stair gates and a balcony, making this property unsuitable for toddlers. Sheets and towels are included. Car rental is highly recommended to explore the area. It's 25 minutes by car to the popular Camelback Mountain Adventures with zip-lining, aerial obstacle courses and a rollercoaster.

About the Location

The property is in Pocono Pines in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, just off Route 940. It is 2 hours’ drive from either New York City’s Newark airport or Philadelphia International Airport. The house is within the ungated community of Lake Naomi, very quiet and safe for families. Grocery stores, restaurants, a playground, parks are nearby. Lake Naomi is within walking distance and ski slopes are a short drive away.

Accommodation Details

The residence has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms set over 3 floors. There is a fully-equipped kitchen/diner with seating up to 8, and a living room with a wood-burning stove on the ground floor. On the second floor there are 2 queensize bedrooms, a full-size family bathroom, a TV room and access to the deck with a dining table and grill. On the third level of the house, you’ll find a twin bedroom with 2 single beds, a queensize bedroom and a powder room/bathroom. Outside there is a swing bench and a firepit with seating.

Style Notes

Lakeside retreat. The woodland residence has been designed for family living and is clean and comfortable. The cozy bedrooms have wooden floors, neutral décor and beautiful forest views. The kitchen boasts quartz counters, white units and an oversized island. We love the snuggly sheepskin rugs, the homey wood burning stove and the outside deck from which you can listen to the wildlife in the woods.
