This light and airy family villa with a pool is well set up for younger and older children and is just 5 minutes’ drive from Pompano Beach. Owned by a family who knows what it is to travel with kids, it is well set up with a gourmet kitchen, multiple living and relaxing spaces and room to relax. The bright and clean main living space is great for parents and children alike. Pack light if you are traveling with toddlers or babies - plenty of equipment is provided.

Why Kids Love it

With a large pool and plenty of space to run around inside the house, kids love it! The owners have thoughtfully provided plenty of items for young children, including a crib, inflatable toddler bed, high chairs, playpen, stroller, sun tent, baby bath, changing pad, waterproof mattress cover, bumbo, step, rocking chair and more. For older children, pool floats, toys and beach toys add a little fun. There is also a kids table and chair, toys and a car seat on offer.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 3 nights. The house is over 1 floor and measures approximately 2000 sq ft. A fence can be added around the pool on request. Gates can also be added to rooms if needed. Correspond with the owners if you need anything for travel with younger children - they likely have it. The residence has WiFi. Note that the pool is heated. NOTE: A 12% city tax will be added to the total cost of the booking once a booking is accepted. This will be charged separately.

About the Location

The residence is a 5-minute drive to Pompano Beach and just to the south of downtown Pompano Beach. It is 20 minutes from Fort Lauderdale airport in a safe and quiet neighborhood. The beach itself is great space for the kids, with a water play area, an outdoor gym and a boardwalk. There is bike hire at the beach. Car rental recommended.

Accommodation Details

This spacious villa has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is laid out on 1 level. It includes 1 bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom, 1 bedroom with queensize bed and 1 bedroom with 2 fullsize/double beds, plus a toddler bed and 2 cribs. There is a well equipped gourmet kitchen, a large entertainment area with barbecue, an outdoor dining area for 8+ and a private pool. There are 2 spacious living rooms and 2 full bathrooms with tubs.

Style Notes

Modern beach house. With white walls, clean and modern spaces and a large open plan living area, this house is well set up for families wanting a break near the beach. The main living area has comfortable sofas plus Arco lamp and a dining area with Eames-style chairs set around a table. Bedrooms are simple and clean and the gourmet kitchen has a great breakfast bar for easy family dining. We love the pared-back colors and the thoughtful touches for an enjoyable family stay.

Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

We are a familly of 4. Our children are 4 and 6 years old. We love to travel and experience various cultures and meet people from all areas of the worlds. Our kids are little and love to play. For them it does not matter where we are as long as we are together :) I join Kid and Coe to promote our rental house and also to do home exchange with other families who also has young children. We have very good reviews about our house, which is is very well equipped for young children... and adults too!

This easy-going beach community is just to the north of Fort Lauderdale on the Florida coast and is bursting with things to do with kids. Watersports, including boating, paddleboards and scuba diving are all popular, and the local beach and boardwalk are made for happy family days, with beachfront cycle paths and a pier made for snapper fishing.

We had an amazing family vacation at this house! We have a 4 year old and a 20 month old and the house was perfect. It was nice and clean and had everything we needed for the kids. Marie and Eric were so great to work with, she even ordered me a car seat for my 4 year old so I wouldn't have to rent one which I thought was so nice of them!! I would highly recommend staying here!

This was a great house for our family! We needed a home base for extended family members to come visit with our toddler and this house worked very well. The patio area especially was really nice and the kitchen was well equipped, including with toddler friendly utensils and basic cooking equipment. We did run into some minor issues - the crib was broken (we were able to secure it fairly easily), outlets in the bedroom we stayed in were not working, and neither was the bedroom fan. The owners were communicative and offered to help fix the crib. We also needed to purchase some additional basic items such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap. All in all, it was a really nice house for our family and we would stay there again.

We had a great time at Chez Sophia. The house was clean, kids LOVED the pool, and having a crib and a stroller was extremely convenient. The beach was really close by and we spent a ton of time there. We would definitely consider staying again!

My family and I had such a lovely enjoyable experience at the Sophia Pompano Beach house. Everything was completely clean and fresh and it was the perfect place for my family of 4 (including a 1 year old and 2 year old). The kids loved all the toys they could play with and of course, we all had a blast splashing in the pool. If you're looking for the perfect family-friendly spot, this is it!
