This ultra compact city residence sleeps 2 adults and 1-2 kids and is walking distance from the Douro River in the heart of Porto’s UNESCO heritage district. It’s all about the location: this residence does not have much in the way of space to play, but it is just steps away from city parks and museums, plus the lively riverside area. With its white-shuttered windows and stone walls smoothed over the ages, it might be small but it certainly has character, and is in a building that’s over 200 years old. We’d recommend boat trips on the river, port tasting in cellars and playtime in the botanical gardens as just a few ways to spend your time here.

What we love

  • It’s a great location, walking distance from the river and Porto’s key cultural attractions
  • The lounge has a TV and DVD player, plus small dining area for 3 and coffee and port for guests
  • The bedroom is screened from the lounge area by a bookcase
  • There’s also a compact modern shower room
  • And the kitchen is big enough to create a family meal in, with microwave, stove and fridge
  • It works well as a city crash pad for a weekend in Porto with 1-2 kids
  • Travel crib, baby high chair and books and games provided

Things to know

  • This is a very small residence with one multipurpose room split into two to create a lounge/bedroom
  • It’s on the second floor with no elevator
  • The sofa in the lounge opens out to a double bed, making it possible to sleep 2 adults and 1-2 kids here
  • No need to bring a car - the residence is central and within walking distance of everything you need
  • If you do bring a car, there’s onstreet parking and a paid-for underground car park just outside
  • 20 minutes from Porto Airport by car/taxi

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

El apartamento es tal y como se en las fotos, incluso mejor! Hugo fue muy atento y amable en todo momento, resolviendo nuestras dudas y recomendándonos muy buenos restaurantes. Nuestra bebé quedó encantada con los juguetes de la casa :) Si volvemos a Oporto, repetiremos seguro. Gracias Hugo por todo! Ángela y Javier.
