Style Notes

Vintage chic. The 100-year-old building was sympathetically renovated in August 2016, keeping many of the original features, such as the wooden floors, elegant windows and high-wall skirting boards. Much of the furniture is handmade and adds a vintage feel, contrasted by sleek modern touches. Portuguese-designed and handmade furniture such lend this place a cozy vintage charm, while furnishings like moulded chairs and modern Portuguese designer illustrations provide contemporary counterpoints.

We had a great stay- hosts were really useful with travel tips and restaurant recommendations, place had all the basics including a Moka pot/dryer, and apartment well designed and built. Really enjoyed the prime location and how accommodating the hosts are. Would recommend on a heartbeat!

Gabriella and her staff were all very friendly and attentive. The apartment was comfortable for myself and two children. Her babysitter recommendation was also great. We would definitely return to Porto and Stone Flats.

We LOVED the location of this apartment - right around the corner from a great street full of restaurants with outdoor cafes, down the street from the river and all its beauty. The apartment was easy to navigate, clean and orderly and welcoming. The hosts gave us tons of insider tips of where to go - no guidebook needed! Would be great to have a way to block small children from climbing the stairs but you won't be spending too much time in the apartment anyway - so much to see in Porto!

We had a wonderful experience with the Old Stone Flats team. They provided very personal service, answered all of our questions and tried to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Sofia took extra time to show us around Porto and give insider recommendations. The apartment was very well located, clean, comfortable and kid friendly. When selecting, be aware that the master bedroom looks into the living room. There is a screen for some privacy but it is not fully private. That said, we loved the apartment, the team and our stay there. Recommend highly!!

Beautiful, tasteful and very clean apartment (had everything we needed for our short stay). Check in and out was very easy (our plane had a few hours delay but it was not a problem. We were still picked up from the airport and one of the hosts were waiting for us to explain everything and give us some tips about Porto). The host was very easily accessible and responded quickly. We got a very useful guide of the city. Good central location.Only small downsides were that you could hear someone walking at night above our apartment. But highly recommended and I would stay there again!

We enjoy our stay very much. The flat is clean and very well furnished. I appreciated a lot to find someone at home even if we arrived very late in the night. The owners were very kind with us to offer their help for any need and to give us precious tips about the city. We felt so pampered.

The Old Stone Flats Peters Residence is a fabulous place to stay in Porto. It is centrally located, very clean, with well appointed furniture and everything you need (including well written instructions on how to use everything in the apartment). The owner, Gabriela, is a wonderful host. She is extremely helpful with loads of great suggestions on places to see, things to do, and restaurants to eat at. I highly recommend staying at this apartment.
