Families love the beautiful setting of the estate, with huge spaces for kids to roam and play and the close proximity to Provence’s best sights. The fully equipped kitchen and outdoor barbecue are perfect for family meals - organic vegetables and flowers can be picked directly from the shared garden. There’s also the option of renting the estate’s separate 2-bedroom cottage (offered only to guests in the farmhouse) which is ideal for parents traveling with a nanny, teenagers or grandparents. The hosts have welcomed many families, who consistently give 5 star reviews, so they’re well equipped to make your stay effortless and magical.
Why Kids Love it
This spectacular estate is a dream for kids. From outdoor play in the heated saltwater pool, pétanque (French bocce ball), basketball, lawn tennis or badminton to indoor activities including arts and crafts, board games and children's books (in French & English), children have plenty to stay occupied while parents can relax. There are toys and games for all ages, but it’s particularly good for kids under 10. Other activities to try during your stay include: horseback riding, carousel rides and ice cream stops in Avignon or St Remy de Provence, bicycle rental, a beach day in the Camargue to see flamingoes and horses, or a trip to Mt Ventoux to enjoy a ropes course, pony rides, bungee trampolines, and downhill karting.
Things to Know
Minimum stay: 7 nights. The farmhouse has 2 flights of stairs from the ground floor to the bedrooms and 2 stairs between the dining room and the living room. Stairs are not gated. Young children should be supervised outside as there are streams that cross the property as well as on-site farm animals: Oreo, the pet pig, and a small flock of sheep. The pool has a pool alarm, as required by French law, but is not fenced. The cottage is located 300 meters away from the farmhouse but still on the estate. The following services can be organized in advance for an additional charge: homemade meal delivery from a local chef, grocery delivery ahead of arrival, babysitting, and on-site wellness services. There is a yoga studio and CrossFit gym within 5 minutes of the estate. There’s also a vast network of bike paths accessible at the entrance of the estate; bike rental can be arranged ahead of your arrival, including delivery of the bicycles directly to the estate.
About the Location
The estate is located equidistant from the Alpilles, the Luberon, and Avignon, minimizing time spent in the car and maximizing time spent enjoying all that Provence has to offer. Within 15 minutes you can visit the beautiful sights of St Remy de Provence, Avignon and the Palace of the Popes, Eygalieres or Isle Sur la Sorgue for antique hunting. It’s 30 minutes from the medieval fortress of Les Baux de Provence, one of France’s most famous villages, the Carrières des Lumières, an immersive art experience set in a former limestone quarry, as well as the famous vineyards of Chateauneuf du Pape. The beautiful towns of Arles and Aix-en-Provence as well as the renowned hilltop villages of Gordes and Roussillon are all less than 1 hour away. The TGV and Eurostar stop in Avignon, only 20 minutes away and the closest airports are Avignon (5 minutes), Marseille (45 minutes) and Nimes (1 hour).
Accommodation Details
The estate consists of the main 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom farmhouse and a separate cottage. Situated on a 60 acre agricultural estate, the house features a large living area with 2 distinct seating areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and separate dining room. There is a primary bedroom, a queensize bedroom and a children's bedroom with 2 twin beds, as well as both a shower and bathtub for the whole family. All bedrooms are air conditioned for comfort. There is an expansive outdoor space with a shaded dining and outdoor living area under century-old plane trees, as well as the private heated pool. Ask the host for a custom quote to include the additional 2-bedroom cottage in your stay - 225 EUR per night.

The renovated farmhouse and cottage both offer modern comfort and are decorated in a simple and timeless manner with antiques, custom made furniture, and curated pieces from local markets. The spaces are bright and clean, with no clutter. Design touches include an antique desk from a French primary school, woven rattan animal trophies in the children's room, unique finds found in the local markets, original art work, and the exceptional outdoor space. We love the contemporary fireplace, the oat-toned window shutters and the elegant outdoor seating.
