This is a special and unique place to stay in Puglia, within easy reach of beautiful beaches. In a peaceful and tranquil location, you’ll stay in romantic bedrooms with high ceilings and quality linens. Dine al fresco or cool off after a swim under the magnificent circular pergola with comfortable lounge furniture that transforms at night with a fire pit.

Why Kids Love it

Kids will love the enclosed gardens and the pool that is large enough for all the family. Three of the 5 bedrooms are interconnected for parents and children to stay close together. Many of the bedrooms also have direct doors to the garden, which is perfect for older children who like to feel more independent, or for grandparents to have their own space. Kids can enjoy Puglia's delicious food such as traditional pasta like orecchiette, and local specialties like burrata cheese and taralli biscuits.

About the Location

Here you’ll find a choice of local restaurants and fireworks for a procession of the Virgin Mary through the streets in August. The historic town of Monopoli is 20 minutes by car where you explore the 16th century castle, wander around the maze of narrow streets and traditional shops in the old town, or take a boat tour from the harbour. Just 15 minutes away are the fascinating Castellana Caves where you can see underground caverns that are over 90 million years old. Fly into Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport (BRI) (50 minutes by car) or Brindisi - Salento Airport (BDS).

Style Notes

Puglian beauty. This lovingly restored house is made up of 3 traditional trullo houses joined together to create a beautiful conversion. The conical roofs of the trulli keep the structure warm in winter and cool in summer and were originally agricultural dwellings. Inside, owners Rosalinda and Leo have created 2 separate areas (living area and bedrooms), each with their own style. White walls are set off by amaretto-colored stone, with arched windows, alcoves made into love seats and domed ceilings. Natural textures from the stone walls and carved stone basins mix with soft, white drapes to give a calm feel. In the garden, you can rest under the shade of 400-year olive trees that are spot-lit at night. We love the shaped infinity pool fringed by lavender plants, and the solid stone dining table for a memorable dinner under the stars.
