This spacious, contemporary villa with a panoramic sea view and private pool is just 10 minutes’ drive from Polignano a Mare’s famous beach. It sleeps 6 + 1. This grown-up paradise has a generous terrace, large lawned garden with fig, orange and olive trees and a pool with gentle shelving that’s perfect for relaxation. The villa offers additional services such as a private chef, babysitters or an in-villa massage for a blissful treat. All can be booked easily through your local concierge. For nightlife, the vibrant Polignano a Mare, with a beautiful square packed with bars and restaurants, is a short taxi ride away.

Why Kids Love it

This property is recommended for older children only because of the number of stairs and low walls. There are 2 twin / single rooms that would be perfect for 2 teenagers or older kids used to their own rooms. Out and about, there’s plenty to enjoy locally including the beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters and a range of water sports on offer. Or check out the Castellana Caves, just 20 mins by car – kids will love exploring the caves and seeing the beautiful rock formations, stalactites, and stalagmites. Alternatively, try Acquapark Egnazia (20 mins) with water slides, pools, a lazy river and a lagoon with a wave machine.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 7 nights. Safety notes: there are some open staircase and walls that are lower than 1m in height, so children should be supervised at all times. Stairs and the pool are ungated. Check in: 4pm to 8pm, check out: 10am. An Italian tourist tax of around €1.50 per person (12+ years) applies and is charged locally. The hosts aim to provide uninterrupted WiFi but reliability may be affected due to factors beyond their control. A complimentary crib and highchair are available. Car hire, child seats and booster seats are available for an additional charge on request. To pre-book family extras please call the hosts. The entrance gates are electric. Please note bedroom 3 is only accessed via bedroom 2. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms only. A washing machine for guests is in the ground shower room.

About the Location

This villa is in the region of Valle d'Itriai in Puglia and is within easy reach of many Blue Flag beaches and beach clubs around Polignano a Mare. The town itself is a lively hub with art galleries, ancient churches, narrow winding streets, restaurants and an annual Red Bull cliff diving competition. The region offers a rich cultural heritage and exceptional local produce. The local village of Alberobello is a UNESCO world heritage site that’s famous for its trulli houses with conical roofs. Also worth day trips are Martina Franca for its stunning Baroque architecture and music festival every July, and the hilltop Locorotondo with its winding streets, whitewashed houses decorated with colorful flowers and wine tours. Fly into Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport (BRI) (approx. 40 mins) or Brindisi - Salento Airport (BDS).

Accommodation Details

This villa has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms arranged over 2 floors. On the 1st floor is an open plan living room / dining space with fully equipped kitchen (gas hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher) and breakfast bar and table. Doors open to the outdoor dining area with a table seating 6 overlooking the private swimming pool (13m x 10m, depth 0.80m to 3m), gardens and BBQ. Also on this floor are 3 bedrooms (1 double with an ensuite shower and 2 each with a single / twin – 1 has an ensuite shower room and 1 opens onto the garden). The 2nd floor is accessed via an internal spiral staircase or via external stairs and offers the primary suite with a double / full bed, ensuite shower room and balcony.

Style Notes

Contemporary chic. With its angular architecture mixed with a dash of Italian flare, this villa sits spectacularly against the backdrop of palm trees and impossibly blue sky and sea. Nothing interrupts the view to the Mediterranean as you lie on the sun lounger next to the curved lines of the infinity pool. The interior is minimalist with a large floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows that frame the view. A double height living room, pale tiled floors and natural wood tones add to the tranquil feeling. We love the chandelier over the breakfast table, the comfortable beds, and the pool area with furniture made for relaxing in style.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
If cancelled 61-300 days before arrival, 30% of the total booking amount will be retained as a cancellation fee. If cancelled 0 – 60 days before arrival, 100% charge of the total booking amount will be retained. In addition to the host’s policy which is listed here, all cancellations are subject to a Kid & Coe cancellation fee of 15% of the booking total.
